Osama bin Laden is dead

He was killed in a firefight in Pakistan, ending nearly a decade's manhunt for the savage who was behind the planning of the 9-11 attacks. Finally, it looks like justice has been done.

Here's more at Michelle Malkin.

Update: here's more at The Blaze, this being an AP Wire report talking about the celebrations that were had following the great news. Interestingly enough, they tell how:
In Dearborn, Mich., a, heavily Middle Eastern suburb that‘s home to one of the nation’s largest Arab and Muslim communities, a small crowd gathered outside City Hall, chanting “USA” and waving American flags.
But a small one, they say. Well, we can't expect them to provide any coverage of those Islamists in the city who may support bin Laden.

Here's also the best newspaper covers, West Point cadets' jubilation, plus that of the USN academy, and the Ground Zero crowd's National Anthem gathering. And, there were even celebrations in front of the White House.

  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
