In 1913, Jews were forbidden to enter the Patriarchs Tomb

Of important note is how at the time, Muslims forbade Jews entrance to the Tomb of the Patriarchs. They were only allowed to pray outside. It should serve as a vital message of what could happen if the ummah were ever to retake control of Jewish and Christian sites again anywhere in Israel.
