Ron Paul's irritating endgame
Ron Paul may have quite the presidential candidacy race, but he's not completely out of the marathons yet: he's also been going after delegates, mainly in caucus states, and can you believe that? Some of these areas are actually willing to provide him.
Now he may not be trying to actually hijack the Tampa convention when it comes around, but he is clearly trying to influence the party in a way that could be quite off-putting. And his supporters have been causing some very offensive ruckuses, including antagonizing Mitt Romney's son. While we can probably figure safely that this kind of monstrous behavior won't take place in Tampa, it's still a telling sign of how Paul's bots - if not he himself - intend to cause as much trouble as possible for the party, and we should rightly be concerned that he may be trying to force the GOP to adopt position that are anathema to conservatives.
Some have figured that what he really wants is to get his son Rand into a prominent position. Let's hope it's just that, but even so, what they're doing so far by harrassing some of the GOP members is already galling enough.
