No, Mickey Levy shouldn't have called Haredis "parasites"

The deputy finance minister recently caused an uproar by calling Haredis "parasites". He apologized, but it didn't satisfy everybody.
I'll admit, that was a stupid thing to say. Unlike Levy, his boss Yair Lapid, while not perfect and I don't expect him to be, managed to convey some of his criticisms a lot better by not trying to paint all Haredis with the same brush or say that they're all inherently bad. And there are more now trying to set better examples like join the workforce and army.
It's a shame Levy had to make such a vulgar statement, since it could undermine the effort to better improve the situation regarding the isolationist mindset sects like Satmar and Toldot Aharon are going by.
Yerach Tucker has a pretty good argument to make about this subject.
