UKIP member's incredibly stupid moral equation
A UKIP councillor has announced he will probably have to step down after less than two weeks because he posted a series of offensive messages about Jews and Muslims online. And anyone who's going to stoop so low is decidedly not being altruistic. Obviously, he's not the first European clod who's undermined efforts to combat Islamofascism by making insulting or just outright repulsive cracks against Jews simultaneously. But he is one person of his pathetic kind who's now learning his idea for what makes a good defense won't help him, and has been forced to resign:
Eric Kitson, 59, has admitted 'I don't see how I can possibly carry on' after sharing racist cartoons and messages on Facebook.
One included a picture of a nuclear weapon exploding emblazoned with the message: 'Some cancers need to be treated with radiation, Islam is one of them'.
He also shared an image of a Muslim being roasted over a pile of burning Korans, as well as several anti-Semitic outbursts linking the Rothschild banking dynasty to Adolf Hitler.
Twelve days after he won a seat in local elections, councilor Eric Kitson of Britain’s right-wing UKIP (the United Kingdom Independence Party) announced Tuesday that he would resign amid harsh criticism for anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim statements he posted on Facebook.I looked at some other reports, and this one says that:
In one comment, he [Kitson] said of Muslim women: "Hang um all first then ask questions later."You know, this sounds even worse than what Jean-Marie Le Pen said about Muslim women. And when a man of Kitson's standing says something so vile yet would have been ignored had it come from the mouth of a Muslim, you know that tragically, he's not motivated by love of life but rather by the same ideologies the founders of the Koran were. I can't understand how people like Kitson think they're making achievements by making hateful instead of helpful statements and equating Jews with Muslims. But now he's been forced to step down, and as far as I'm concerned, he'll be no loss. People like him are harmful to the fight against Islamofascism, and everybody who believes in freedom must distance themselves from abominations like Kitson.
