US and UK embassies shut down in Muslim countries following al Qaeda threats

Osama bin Ladan's repulsive gang is still a serious threat to the civilized world, and following threats they made, several American embassies closed temporarily in Muslim countries, for an uncertain period of time (via Hot Air). Some Congress members have said it's the most serious threat made by a terrorist gang they've seen in years.
Not only has the US closed some of its embassies in countries like those, so too has Britain's, and some other European countries may have done so as well. The al Qaeda's current threats show quite clearly that they're still very extremely dangerous.
