Israeli air strike in Syria
Israeli warplanes struck targets inside Syria on Thursday, likely missiles that were being transferred to the militant group Hezbollah, according to a senior defense official.Very good. Those rockets the Hezbollah is using are deadly and need to be stopped.
The attack involved two to four warplanes, said the official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the operation.
It was similar to an operation in May in which Israeli jets fired weapons at a shipment of accurate, Iranian-made guided missiles. That attack occurred near Damascus. Israel also struck suspected weapons bound for Hezbollah in January.
