The state legislature of Illinois approved a bill aimed at cutting down on BDS:
Illinois lawmakers have passed a bill that would compel the state’s public-employee pension funds to unload investments in companies that participate in boycotts against Israel.There's more about this at the Wash. Post too. The state senators did the right thing. No sensible person should associate themselves with the BDS movement.
The measure unanimously passed the Illinois House of Representatives on Monday. The Illinois Senate approved it by a vote of 49-0 in April. Sponsors say they seek to counter efforts by an international pro-Palestinian campaign, known as the BDS movement (boycott, divestment and sanctions) to isolate the Jewish state.
