4 Marine officials were murdered by a jihadist in Tennessee
A gunman went on a murderous rampage at two military facilities in Tennessee Thursday, killing four US Marines and injuring several others in what could be an “act of domestic terrorism,” officials said. That's right, it most definitely could have. There's more about him on Jihad Watch.
The Kuwaiti-born shooter, who was killed by police, was identified as Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, a 24-year-old resident of Hixson, Tenn. He held dual US and Jordanian citizenship, officials said.
Soon after he sprayed bullets at a Chattanooga military-recruiting center and Navy-Marine training facility just seven miles apart, authorities descended on Abdulazeez’s home, hauling away two women in handcuffs.
[...] US Attorney Bill Killian said officials were treating the attacks as an “act of domestic terrorism.”
And authorities are looking into whether the shooter has terror links abroad, a federal source told The Post.
“Lone-wolf attacks are the main threat facing the homeland, and this attack has the makings of that,” the source said. “As things stand now, it appears to be a lone-wolf attack, but inspired by high-profile terror organizations.”
The source added that an ISIS call for increased attacks during the holy month of Ramadan, which ends on Friday, could have influenced the shooter.
