Another case of Haredi crackpots intent on harming Israel's better image took place in the past few days, first reported by Israel National News:

Fighting broke out between Jews and Arabs near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem today (Saturday) after a group of haredim threw stones at cars driven by Arabs. The incident occurred on Haim Bar-Lev Street, not far from the Old City's Damascus Gate.

Reports indicate that an Arab woman was injured and two cars damaged. Police have arrested three suspects, two of them Jews and one Arab.

The injured woman's condition is not yet known, nor are there reports of violence spreading further throughout the city.

Several Arab cars were pelted by rocks before striking the passenger- side window of the car the woman was in, resulting in abrasions from the shattered glass, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

After the car the woman was traveling in pulled over, a near riot broke out when the haredi assailants and a group of Arab locals threw rocks at each other. [...]

The wounded woman was treated at the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics and did not require hospitalization, Rosenfeld said. It remains unclear how much damage was caused to the other vehicles targeted in the attack.

It's bad enough there's been Muslims throwing rocks at Jews, even imperiling children. Now we have another case of Haredis making things worse by taking actions that are not only wrong, they also take away attention from the jihadist cases since many MSM outlets can and will exploit these latest incidents for anti-Israel propaganda. It's lucky the woman wasn't badly injured.

And just yesterday, another brawl broke out between 2 from each community:

A violent altercation between two Jewish men and two Arab men Monday night on a street in the ultra-Orthodox Jerusalem neighborhood of Mea She’arim resulted in the arrests of all four suspects, police said on Tuesday.

While details of what sparked the melee remain unclear, according to police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, the incident took place at approximately 10 p.m.

“Police responded to the scene within minutes and placed the four suspects under arrest,” said Rosenfeld, adding that no one was seriously injured.

I hope the two Haredis weren't the ones who started it. But if they did, then that only furthers the damage this is bound to cause. You can be quite sure the Muslim propaganda machine is going to milk this for all the anti-Israeli slurs they can think of. And we won't like it one bit.
