Norwegian paper's cartoon compares Israel to Nazis and north Korea
A widely distributed Norwegian tabloid is refusing to apologize for its decision to publish a cartoon that compares Israel to the Nazis and to North Korea. What kind of tabloid is this anyway? And I thought American and British tabloids were bad! Yet another reason why Norway's not a country any sane person should be supporting.
The daily newspaper Dagbladet published a cartoon on Thursday showing a woman shopping for organic food and wondering, "But what’s the point if the food is produced in an unethical way?" In the next panel, she picks up an orange, notices it is from Israel, and says, "You are supporting murderers."
Then she picks up a package of pasta and says, "This macaroni was made in North Korea. How did you even get this?"
Finally, she picks up a frozen pizza package with a swastika on it and the label "Made in Nazi Germany."
"What is this store, anyway?" the woman says.
