He comes off sounding vaguely like Jean-Marie Le Pen, when he justified niqabs by saying they protect us from "ugly women", which was basically insulting even women forced to wear them against their will. I'm disappointed with him for making such a defeatist statement. Instead of defending women's dignity, he makes it sound like he doesn't care about them. I guess that could explain why candidates like Ben Carson are beginning to gain ground over him now.
