They're still setting an offensive example

This past week, Haredi crackpots continued to give a bad image to their community as a whole, and simultaneously give Reforms all the attention they clearly want them to get:
Dozens of ultra-Orthodox worshippers clashed with some 300 Conservative and Reform worshippers Thursday at a Western Wall prayer service held in protest of a recent stall in plans to create an egalitarian prayer space at the site.

The haredi mob, angered by the mixed-gender prayer service at the Western Wall's upper plaza, reportedly pushed, shouted at and, according to some accounts, even sexually harassed some of the participants. The situation quickly devolved into angry clashes between both sides.

According to witnesses on site, police did not attempt to put a stop to the situation. Attorney Yizhar Hess, CEO of the Masorti (Conservative) Movement said, "Shockingly, the police were absent and allowed the haredi bullies to disturb the prayer."
If this is accurate, it proves the police responsible for the Old City are shirking their duties, and that can be dangerous. In which case, I fully support legal action to deal with this disturbing situation.
