Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump makes a good case for racial profiling
to prevent terrorism by citing Israel's own model:
The United States must consider profiling suspected terrorists based on race given the apparent scourge of extremism afflicting the country's Muslim communities, Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, charged on Sunday.
"You look at Israel and you look at others and they do it and they do it successfully," He said.
"I hate the concept of profiling, but we have to start using common sense," he told CBS News' Face the Nation. Trump also alleged that French authorities are monitoring mosques across their country, and said the US should "respectfully" do the same.
Exactly. Succumbing to political correctness will not help one bit. It's time for the USA to start emulating Israel's approach if they really want to stop jihadism.
