Trump's rightly worried about recent anti-semitic vandalism

President Trump's voiced his dismay at the recent vandalism in Jewish cemetaries:
US President Donald Trump said Monday he was “disappointed and concerned” by ongoing incidents of anti-Semitism throughout the country, while Jewish groups demanded decisive action and two state governors said they had ordered concerted efforts to capture those responsible.

In the latest in a series of anti-Semitic incidents throughout the country, bomb threats were called in Monday to JCCs in North Carolina, Alabama, Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, New Jersey and Delaware.

And on Sunday, hundreds of gravestones were toppled in at a Jewish cemetery in Philadelphia — days after similar vandalism occurred at a St. Louis, Missouri graveyard.

Speaking Monday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said the president “continues to be deeply disappointed and concerned over reports of further vandalism at Jewish cemeteries.

“The cowardly destruction in Philadelphia this weekend comes on top of similar accounts from Missouri and threats against Jewish community centers,” he said.
It's very good that Trump's speaking out about these terrible acts, unlike Obama, who had little to say, if at all. While we're on the topic, Shmuley Boteach's come to Trump's defense following the unfair/exaggerated accusations made against him. His courage to address a serious issue is admirable, and a positive step that'll hopefully help put a stop to whoever's committing the awful crimes, whether it be Islamofascists, which is quite possible, or another form of anti-semite.

Even if they're a bunch of phonies, it's no excuse for spoiling somebody's bat mitzvah

Yet again, Haredis at the Western Wall cause bedlam because the Women of the Wall conducted not only a prayer service, but a bat mitzvah. And to make matters worse, even "national religious" had to back them up, even if they didn't act violent:
Twelve-year-old Hod Hasharon native Noa Brenner celebrated her bat mitzvah at the monthly prayer service of Women of the Wall, a feminist group advocating for egalitarian prayer at the Western Wall holy site.

According to news reports, more than a thousand female yeshiva students were bussed in by Liba, an Orthodox Jewish group which opposes a government plan to create an egalitarian prayer space at the Western Wall.

Some of the girls, who had been pulled out of school for the protest, heckled the prayer service, with one calling the worshippers “animals,” according to Haaretz. Others prayed silently.
There's more here. Even if it was only one who yelled out "animals" that was disgusting. As usual, I'm convinced those who gave WoW all the attention they doubtless wanted actually want to give Orthodox Judaism a bad name. They have the ability, if they want to, to just ignore the group, and instead, it's clear they do want to embarrass Orthodoxy in the long run, and that's a bad thing.

Jewish gravestones vandalized in two American areas

First the vandalism took place in Missouri, and now Pennsylvania's been struck next at a Jewish cemetary:
Dozens of headstones were found toppled at a Jewish cemetery in Philadelphia on Sunday.

Police said that the incident at the city’s Mount Carmel Cemetery was an act of vandalism and have opened an investigation, according to a local ABC affiliate. [...]

The discovery of the vandalized Jewish headstones in Philadelphia Sunday follows a similar incident last week in which over 150 graves were damaged at a Jewish cemetery near St. Louis.

The vandalism at the Jewish graveyard in Missouri was decried by leading American Jewish groups, who called on the US authorities to take action in response to a perceived recent increase in anti-Semitic incidents in the US. It was also followed by US President Donald Trump’s first explicit condemnation over the trend.

On Wednesday, US Vice President Mike Pence visited the Chesed Shel Emeth Society cemetery outside of St. Louis where the incident took place, joining Missouri’s Jewish Governor Eric Greitens and other volunteers in an interfaith service and cleanup effort.
Pence did the right thing to join in the repair efforts. I hope it's discovered soon who was responsible for the repellent act at the cemetaries.

Hamas-funded school in east Jerusalem closed for hatemongering

An Islamic-run school in the east side of the city is being shut down for its role of indoctrination:
A private school in east Jerusalem is being shut down for incitement, Israel’s Channel 2 reported on Thursday.

According to the report, the curriculum of the Al-Nukhba elementary school — established by Hamas in the Tsur Baher neighborhood — contains extreme anti-Israel teachings. After months of surveillance, the Israeli Education Ministry, the Jerusalem District Police and the Shin Bet internal security agency issued a closure order a few weeks ago.
It's about time. But a "private" school? Not if it's backed by jihadists, it's not.

Former chief rabbi Yona Metzger gets jailed for bribery and fraud

Yona Metzger, former chief rabbi in Israel, has been sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison for tax evasion and accepting bribery:
The Jerusalem district court judge Moshe Yoad Hacohen sentenced former Chief Rabbi Yonah Metzger to four-and-a-half years in prison, after the Rabbi admitted within the framework of a plea bargain to bribery charges.

The judge did not accept the plea bargain on the matter of the penalty; the plea bargain stipulated three-and-a-half years in prison.

As part of the plea bargain, a revised indictment was submitted against the Rabbi in which it was asserted that Rabbi Metzger had committed during his tenure as Chief Rabbi a number of offenses including taking bribes, fraud, and tax offenses, while functioning in his official capacity and taking advantage of his exalted status. Likewise, during investigations, Rabbi Metzger committed obstruction of justice.

As a result of the offenses, the Rabbi received bribes amounting to 5 million shekels, from which he pocketed 3 million shekels after dividing the money with his driver, who served as his emissary for receiving the bribes.

The revised indictment includes 6 offenses with which the Rabbi is charged.
Tsk tsk tsk. He should've cooperated more convincingly with authorities, and then maybe he wouldn't have gotten an extra year. There's another Haredi crook who now finds justice catching up to him.

Soros-funded blogger in France leads to outrage with his bigoted, violence-condoning tweets

A Muslim blogger in France has come under fire after it was discovered he wrote tweets under a pseudonym condoning anti-semitism, rape and murder:
An influential French blogger has come in for heavy criticism after thousands of antisemitic, threatening and homophobic tweets he published under a pseudonym resurfaced over the weekend, sparking fierce debate.

The tweets included threats against Front National leader Marine Le Pen, who he threatened to kill, but their author Medhi Meklat, 24, and his supporters have shrugged them off as a joke.

“I am going to slit your throat Muslim style” read the tweet threatening Le Pen. Another called for “Hitler to kill all the Jews”, while a third said he wanted to “rape” former Charlie Hebdo editor-in-chief Charb, one of the victims of the January 2015 terror attacks, with a “Laguiole knife”.

The tweets were published under the pseudonym ‘Marcelin Deschamps’, described by Meklat as a “shameful”, “fictional character” whose thoughts were “quite the opposite” of his own.”
Not everyone's convinced he was merely joking, nor should they be. If anything, he's committed a most abominable crime by making threats against people over their politics, and their race. No sane person should have anything to do with him, and he should be prosecuted for inciting violence. As the article notes, the site he's working for is funded by George Soros, proving he has no morale.

Swedish policeman confirms open borders in Europe brought crime

Breitbart reminds everyone that Donald Trump's got proof, if anything, that the disastrous open borders policy of the EU, along with Sweden's own corrupt politicians, brought violent crime into the country:
Sweden became a member of the European Union in 1995 and opened our borders.

We are part of the Schengen treaty, so you have that freedom of movement which has also brought criminality here… Gun and drug related crime has definitely increased. Until recently the possession of guns by criminals was very rare – now finding people with firearms is a daily occurrence here… most of the guns we seize are used in criminal activity, are held illegally, and are smuggled into Sweden.

Slovakia is very interesting right now – it is very easy to buy deactivated guns there but they are converted back when they are imported here.

Malmo is infamous for explosions. Yet thankfully nobody has been killed by the explosions yet – some of them are just used to frighten people. We had one case in Rosengard where a group were given a court order to leave an apartment because they were a disturbance for the neighbours. And then suddenly hand grenades and explosions outside the office of the real estate company.
This is what the MSM doesn't want you to know. This is how Sweden's ended up, thanks to some of the worst politicians around.

Marine Le Pen bravely refused to wear headscarf at Lebanese mufti's HQ

The lady candidate for French presidency did something the female dhimmis in Sweden wouldn't do: she refused to wear a hijab during a visit to a Lebanese mufti, and ideally cancelled the meeting with him too:
French far-right National Front presidential candidate Marine Le Pen canceled a meeting on Tuesday with Lebanon's grand mufti, its top cleric for Sunni Muslims, after refusing to wear a headscarf for the encounter.

Le Pen, among the frontrunners for the presidency, is using a two-day visit to Lebanon to bolster her foreign policy credentials nine weeks from the April 23 first round, and may be partly targeting potential Franco-Lebanese votes.

Many Lebanese fled to France, Lebanon's former colonial power, during their country's 1975-1990 civil war and became French citizens.

After meeting Christian President Michel Aoun - her first public handshake with a head of state - and Sunni Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri on Monday, she had been scheduled to meet the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian

He heads the Dar al-Fatwa, the top religious authority for Sunni Muslims in the multireligious country.

"I met the grand mufti of Al-Azhar," she told reporters, referring to a visit in 2015 to Cairo's 1,000-year-old center of Islamic learning. "The highest Sunni authority didn't have this requirement, but it doesn't matter.

"You can pass on my respects to the grand mufti, but I will not cover myself up," she said.

The cleric's press office said Le Pen's aides had been informed beforehand that a headscarf was required for the meeting and had been "surprised by her refusal".
Oh, sure, I'll bet they were surprised. It's more likely they were enraged underneath she wouldn't kowtow to their demands she demean herself and grovel before the mufti. And she shouldn't adhere to a dress code imposed by Haredi extremists like Satmar either. Whatever her motivations for visiting that mufti, she did the right thing by not meeting him in the end. If he demanded women not be themselves, then he doesn't deserve the dignity of a visit by a politician from a civilized society. Le Pen was brave to refuse, and did the right thing not to grovel.

Islamofascist charged with plotting to bomb buses in TA for the cause of ISIS

Another local Muslim's been arrested and charged with betrayal of the state for the sake of ISIS:
An Arab Israeli man was charged with planning terror attacks on behalf of the Islamic State group, including bus bombings directed against IDF soldiers, according to an indictment filed against him on Monday. He also allegedly distribute information to IS members on how to create a deadly nerve gas.

The suspect, Anas Haj Yihya, was charged in a Tel Aviv court with belonging to a terrorist organization and with multiple counts of contact with a foreign agent.

In May, one of Yihya’s Islamic State contacts, Muhammad Abdel Rawi, told him to carry out attacks against soldiers, including blowing up a bus filled with soldiers on central Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Street, which he agreed to, according to the charge sheet.

Three months later, Yihya apparently attempted to create an explosive device, asking a gardener to get him fertilizer, but his request was denied, according to the indictment.

Yihya also allegedly used the Telegram messaging application to distribute information to IS members on how to create sarin gas, a deadly nerve agent, how to manufacture explosive belts and bombs with cellphone triggers, and which poisons can be added to explosives in order to make them more lethal.
Utterly repulsive. He should be locked up and the key thrown away.

A hopefully better era in Israeli-USA relations has begun

After the Israeli prime minister had his meeting with Donald Trump, he emerged more positively than before (Hat tip: Breitbart):
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday hailed the success of his recent talks with US President Donald Trump, calling last week’s trip to the United States he start of “a new day” in Israel’s relations with its American ally.

“The alliance between Israel and the US has always been steadfast but, I told them there and also here in Jerusalem: This alliance has become even stronger,” Netanyahu said at his first cabinet meeting since returning to Israel on Friday.

Citing his warm personal connection with Trump as well as “the common view about the dangers and opportunities in the Middle East,” Netanyahu said that during his ‘historic visit,” he and the president saw “eye to eye” on a range of issues facing the region, specifically noting the threat posed by Iranian aggression.
I'd strongly advise taking note of Sweden's de facto support for Iran's hostility too. Any foreign country that goes to kneel before their mullahs is only furthering that aggressive attitude of theirs, and Sweden should be ashamed of themselves for groveling before Rouhani as they did the other week.

All that aside, it's good to see the Netanyahu/Trump meeting went over well, and let's hope it leads to forming an effective alliance in the war against jihadism.

The pope undermines the war on terrorism

Pope Francis is doing a terrible disservice to fellow Christians, Jews, and even Buddhists, if that matters, by acting as though there's no such thing as a bad religion:
In an impassioned address Friday, Pope Francis denied the existence of Islamic terrorism, while simultaneously asserting that “the ecological crisis is real.”

“Christian terrorism does not exist, Jewish terrorism does not exist, and Muslim terrorism does not exist. They do not exist,” Francis said in his speech to a world meeting of populist movements.

What he apparently meant is that not all Christians are terrorists and not all Muslims are terrorists—a fact evident to all—yet his words also seemed to suggest that no specifically Islamic form of terrorism exists in the world, an assertion that stands in stark contradiction to established fact.
What he stated was definitely awkward at worst, and does nothing to help combat the rising persecution of Christians either, if he won't condemn the Koranic verses that condone jihadism. And he's demonstrated perfectly why there's some people out there who're alienated from Christianity, because "leaders" like himself won't defend their followers properly.

And what's the big deal about ecology? It sounds like he buys into the whole global warming nonsense, which is trivial and just used to divert attention from more serious issues he doesn't want to confront convincingly.

IS considers MSM a powerful weapon

A new report warns that the Islamic State wants to conquer the mainstream press as much as they do the globe:
Islamic State terrorists consider the mainstream media to be “more important than military jihad” with a “far-reaching” power that exceeds even the “most powerful bombs,” reports the London-based International Center for the Study of Radicalization and Political Violence (ICSR).

The Islamic State jihadists value the mainstream media because it helps them to produce and disseminate propaganda to a vast audience.

“Weeks after its capture of Mosul in 2014, the Islamic State set about transforming its strategic trajectory. Through an avalanche of media products, it worked to aggressively insert itself into the global public discourse and, in turn, popularize its brand, polarize adversary populations and drive rivals into the ideological side-lines,” notes ICSR.
Read the rest. This is very serious and dangerous, what the IS is working on. Especially when the MSM demonstrates they're fully compliant with the wishes of the Islamofascists.

Armed mobs in Paris are furthering inner city jihad

Breitbart's London division reports that the riots in Paris are getting worse. It's clear the military will have to be called in, but so far, it looks like Francois Hollande wants to allow the country to collapse into pure hell, and that's disgusting.

Ikea follows up their dhimmitude with kowtowing to Haredi beliefs in censorship of women's imagery

Ikea, the Swedish furniture company founded by a nazi collaborator, Ingvar Kamprad, was criticized 5 years ago for publishing catalogs for Muslim countries that obliterated female imagery. Now, they've followed up this pathetic conduct by publishing a similar catalog for censorship-advocating Haredi customers:
The IKEA furniture and homewares store has issued a special version of its catalogue for the ultra-Orthodox sector, featuring challah boards, cupboards with black and white clothes and, most notable, no women.

The absence of women from haredi newspapers, websites, and other forms of media has become a well known and now almost unremarkable phenomenon, while catalogues in haredi cities and neighborhoods have also been scrubbed clean of any images of women in recent years.

But this week, residents of haredi communities found a haredi version of the new IKEA catalogue in their mail boxes, featuring book cases full of volumes of the Talmud and Bible, display cases featuring Shabbat candlesticks, tables set for the Sabbath meal, and closets filled with white shirts and black suits, the standard haredi garb.

This special sectoral catalogue also includes pictures of haredi men and boys with long curly peot, or side-locks, black velvet yarmulkes and tzitzit, studying religious texts, and posing in various scenes of familial life.

Unlike the standard IKEA catalogue however, no daughters, sisters or mothers accompany those fathers and sons.

IKEA said in response to the story that “in response to requests we received, we decided to launch a catalogue that allows the religious and haredi community to enjoy looking at the products and solutions that IKEA offers, and to do so in accordance with their lifestyles.”
Anybody who supports such censorious approaches and/or blandly tolerates the same is leading a socialist lifestyle, especially if they're not working or serving in the military, and just living on welfare. Even if Haredis aren't known for the kind of evil that Islamofascists are, this is still very egregious and only appeases the really bad apples like Satmar tribalists. This is supposed to be consumer furniture advertising, not a synagogue, and what they're doing is basically politicizing their business conduct.

Personally, I'd rather not buy anything from Ikea because they're not all that different today than they were at the time Kamprad originally founded them, and their whole approach to marketing practically demonstrates what's wrong with them overall - they're jelly-spined and will do anything for money.

Update: USA Today says they've gotten some condemnation for their kowtowing:
Ikea’s retail manager for Israel, Shuky Koblenz, expressed regret over the women-less publication.

“We realize that people are upset about this and that the publication does not live up to what IKEA stands for and we apologize for this,” he said in a statement sent to RNS. “We will make sure that future publications will reflect what IKEA stands for and at the same time show respect for Haredi community.”
If that means they're going to respect their "right" to be sexist, they're not apologizing at all. And I don't want to buy products from a company founded by a man as repellent as Kamprad is anyway.

UCLA bans "islamophobic" book from alleged free speech event

While the Hill has sent telling signs they're not very strong on free speech themselves, they were willing to publish an article by Elan Journo, who had a book barred from a potentially farcical event the UCLA was holding (Hat tip: Jihad Watch):
At UCLA Law School last week, a squad of student “thought police” tried to ban my book, Failing to Confront Islamic Totalitarianism: From George W. Bush to Barack Obama and Beyond. They don’t want you to know the book even exists, let alone what’s inside it. And the UCLA administration enabled them. This ominous episode underlines how students are learning to be contemptuous of intellectual freedom.
Read more about how obnoxiously the students who didn't want his book to be there acted. In fact, note how clear it is they were basically fine with Bush proving as much a failure in his time as Obama later was.

Another airline flight made miserable by Haredi troublemakers

An EasyJet flight from Tel Aviv to Luton was turned into utter sickness by Haredis who I'm sure intended to give Orthodox Judaism as bad a name as they could. And in Britain, no less:
Police boarded an easyJet flight from Tel Aviv when it arrived in Luton on Monday to prevent a possible “breach of the peace” by a group of strictly Orthodox Jewish men.

One angry passenger who spoke to the JC said it was “absolute bedlam” on the plane. No arrests were made.
Why do I get the feeling they were let off easy because they were Haredis? If they weren't, I've got a hunch the story would be different.
Tempers are said to have flared prior to the departure of Monday’s 2.55pm flight from Israel, when a group of Charedi men refused to take their seats next to female passengers – apparently on religious grounds.

The flight was full, but the men refused to listen to stewards’ requests to take their seats so the plane could take off.

Eventually, after a 15 minute stand-off, where the men were said to have blocked the aisles, some of the female passengers offered to move from their seats in order for the men to agree to sit down.

The passenger told the JC: “A group of around 10 ultra-Orthodox men caused absolute bedlam on the flight.

"It was infuriating to witness both for passengers and for the stewards, who tried but failed to control them.
Why didn't they call authorities in Israel before taking off? Security should have thrown them off the flight long before. And I have a hunch it was all deliberate.
“When some of the women got up and moved seats to ensure that the plane got to take off, some of these men never even thought about saying ‘thank you’.
Just an example of how ungrateful some of these insular disgraces can be.
“Then after the plane took off one male plugged his phone into the control panel above the stewards’ area.”

This caused the exit lights to come on, the passenger said.

“As the exit lights went on, some of the stewards looked as though they were really quite panicked.

“One cabin crew member eventually went over to the man and demanded he take his mobile and said he was responsible for a possible compromise of safety.”
And this demonstrates how little they care about other people's safety. But the worst part is the failure by police to arrest them:
"Officers attended and escorted the men off the flight preventing a breach of the peace. No offences were found to have been committed.”
Excuse me? They acted disorderly, risked a safety standard, irritated the passengers and all they could do was let them off? Again, I'm sure if these weren't Haredis they wouldn't have been so lenient. But the truly corrosive effect is what this'll do to public opinion in Britain, as now a negative view of Orthodox Judaism as a whole could be enforced by this terrible incident. Any Orthodox adherent who doesn't publicly condemn this is only inviting more harm to a religion they presumably want to uphold as a positive role model.

Sweden's "feminist" government sides with Iran, to the point of donning hijabs

That they're associating themselves with Iran's Rouhani is already quite disturbing. Not only did a bunch of phony "feminists" go to meet him, the Swedish diplomats who shamefully traveled to meet with these repellent caliphs even wore hijabs at his fortress of horror:
In a statement that has gone viral on Twitter and Facebook, UN Watch, a non-governmental human rights NGO in Geneva, expressed disappointment that Sweden’s self-declared “first feminist government in the world” sacrificed its principles and betrayed the rights of Iranian women as Trade Minister Ann Linde and other female members walked before Iranian President Rouhani on Saturday wearing Hijabs, Chadors, and long coats, in deference to Iran’s oppressive and unjust modesty laws which make the Hijab compulsory — despite Stockholm’s promise to promote “a gender equality perspective” internationally, and to adopt a “feminist foreign policy” in which “equality between women and men is a fundamental aim.”

In doing so, Sweden’s female leaders ignored the recent appeal by Iranian women’s right activist Masih Alinejad who urged Europeans female politicians “to stand for their own dignity” and to refuse to kowtow to the compulsory Hijab while visiting Iran.

Alinrejad created a Facebook page for Iranian women to resist the law and show their hair as an act of resistance, which now numbers 1 million followers.

“European female politicians are hypocrites,” says Alinejad. “They stand with French Muslim women and condemn the burkini ban—because they think compulsion is bad—but when it happens to Iran, they just care about money.”
And how much money are they making on selling Saab and Volvo models to Iran? Which they no doubt are. And which explains why nobody should be buying Sweden's products if they see nothing wrong with this abominable display of blatancy.

Haredi modesty squad members arrested

The police in Jerusalem have been cracking down on "modesty squads", the shady Haredi thugs who do whatever they can to govern their subjects by thought control:
Authorities in Jerusalem arrested two men Monday morning in an apparent crackdown on a vigilante “modesty squad” which has operated for years in the capital’s haredi neighborhoods.

The two men, whose names have not yet been released for publication, are both senior figures within the Committee for the Purity of the Camp. Formerly known as the Modesty Patrol, the Committee is a peripheral organization seeking to enforce stricter standards of modest behavior and dress on the larger haredi population through intimidation and harassment.

Both suspects are expected to be brought before a judge today, a source with knowledge of the case told BeHadrei Haredim. The basis for the arrests have yet to be disclosed.

Despite efforts by police, leaders of the Committee and its forerunner have hitherto eluded punishment, even as lesser figures within the group have been convicted.

In 2009, a 29-year old man with ties to the Modesty Patrol was convicted for his role in a violent assault on a women living in a predominantly haredi neighborhood in the capital. Charges were dropped, however, against the man’s co-conspirators and the ringleaders of the organization, due to a lack of evidence.
I wonder if it had anything to do with refusal of suspects to cooperate with police? That could be one of the reasons why it hasn't been easy to nail the ringleaders. For now, it's good that some have been caught, and they should be punished up to the full limit of the law for trying to enforce their own variation on Islamic sharia upon members of their community.

Tourists from Korea are being robbed in France by Muslim rioters

Thanks to all the negligence caused by the pathetic government officials now running France, Asian tourists are being victimized by Muslim thugs and even black criminals, all as riots broke out over a criminal supposedly raped by police:
About forty South Korean tourists were robbed in Paris at the weekend when men climbed aboard their coach shouting threats.

Witness statements from the event, described by South Korea’s leading news agency Yonhap as “ten minutes of horror”, revealed that one of the intruders threatened tourists on the coach with an object “resembling a glass bottle”.

The coachload of tourists were driving back to their hotel in Saint-Denis at the time of the attack. The neighbourhood is in close proximity to areas of Paris affected by ongoing violence as anti-police protesters riot over the assault of a black youth worker who alleges he was anally raped with a truncheon while being arrested.

The Yonhap report stated “the possibility of a link” between the robbery and the riots going on in the area had not yet been ruled out.
I think the whole allegation is a likely story, fabricated by thugs not unlike the Black Lives Matter movement. And now, look at all the damage they've caused, including - but not limited to - tourism.

In the meantime, Marine Le Pen's continuing her presidential campaign and concentrating on security/immigration issues more than her rivals actually are. I hope she can have an impact on those topics.

France's Miss Universe winner should come to Israel

With all the harm that's befallen France over the past 2 years, that's why they're lucky to have a winner at this year's Miss Universe pageant, Iris Mittenaere. There were still political questions being raised at the show, however, and some liberal media sources tried to take her answer out of context. Newsbusters has a transcript of what she really said regarding borders:
Steve Harvey: France step right up. Given to wide refugee crisis, do countries have an obligation to accept refuge or do they have a right to close their border?

Miss France (via Translator): So the countries should have the right to open or close their borders. So throughout the world people can choose to have their borders open or closed. In Europe we have open borders. In France, we want to have the most globalization that we can. We want to have the biggest exchange of people that we can. Maybe some day that will change, but now we have open borders. So having open borders allows us to travel through the world and find out more about what's out there in the world.
From what I can tell here, it's nowhere near what the leftards surely want her to say. Basically, she's saying they want to have far more than just Islamofascists coming in. Newsbusters says:
France may have open borders, but it also has had to deal with some devastating terrorist attacks in recent years because of it. While showing support for other countries' rights to tighten their borders (ahem, America), maybe Miss France can see the light and speak to protecting her home a little better.
I think it's possible she can.

And the Israeli contestant at the pageant, Yam Kaspers Anshel, reveals that Mittenaere told her she'd visit Israel:
Israel’s representative in the Miss Universe 2016 pageant revealed on Monday night that the new titleholder has promised to visit the Jewish state.

“I’m holding her to that promise,” Israel’s Yam Kaspers Anshel said about France’s Iris Mittenaere, who was crowned on Sunday night in the Philippines. The 18-year-old — who made the comments to the Philippines-based news organization ABS-CBN News at a pageant after-party — added that she and Mittenaere had been roommates during the competition and became “really good friends.”

The Herzliya native did not make it past the first round of the contest, but she still feels like a winner, she said, by “just getting to know [the other contestants] and being here in the Philippines.” The teen, who was the youngest Miss Universe contestant this year, added that she is thrilled Mittenaere won the crown. “She is beautiful inside and outside. She deserves it so much,” Kaspers Anshel said.
I sure hope she will pay a visit. It could do a lot of good.

More Haredi anti-military riots undermine Israel's efforts to keep the country safe

It's been at least 3 days, and more Haredis against army drafts have been causing trouble for the taxpayers who should not have to foot their bill:
For a third night in a row, hundreds of extremist haredi men took to major roads, thoroughfares and highways around the country on Thursday afternoon, blocking traffic to protest the arrest of a yeshiva student by the Military Police for failing to appear at IDF draft offices to begin his service.

Protests took place beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, the Shilat junction near Modi’in, Elad, Kanut junction near Gedera, Beit Shemesh and other locales, during which 31 protesters were arrested by police for disturbing the peace.

In Jerusalem, hundreds of protesters blocked the Bar-Ilan and Shmuel Hanavi in intersection, a major traffic artery, causing significant traffic jams.

Police used a water cannon and mounted officers to disperse the protesters, but shortly after each attempt to clear the junction, the protesters would return and resume blocking traffic.

Police intermittently approached the crowds of protesters to drag one of the men away, and their actions were met with shouts of “Nazis” to men and “shiksas,” meaning non-Jews, to women.

At other times, protesters danced in the middle of the road, even while being blasted by the water cannons, and sang songs about their devotion to God and the Torah.
It's almost laughable how they claim devotion to God and Torah, yet do everything they can to desecrate God's name, and the Torah's. And the gurus who've caused this should be jailed and prosecuted for inciting public disorder.
The protests are being organized and led by a group known as the Jerusalem Faction, a breakaway from the mainstream haredi (ultra-Orthodox) political grouping that has taken a more radical stance on the issue of military service.

According to researchers at the Israel Democracy Institute, the Jerusalem Faction constitutes approximately 10% of the Ashkenazi haredi community and 6.5% of the overall haredi community, including the Sephardi haredim.
Again, the sources encouraging these riots and jams should be prosecuted. Especially after they assaulted a soldier during one of the protests:
Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan on Friday lashed out at Haredi protesters who attacked an IDF soldier during a demonstration in the predominantly ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, a day earlier.

The incident took place during a series of protests by members of the ultra-Orthodox community over the arrest of a Haredi man who refused to appear at his draft office. Protesters clashed with police in a number of locations, resulting in security officials employing riot dispersal measures, including the use of water cannons.

Footage from the incident in Bnei Brak shows the protesters knocking the soldier to the ground, then kicking and hitting him, before he was retrieved by other members of the security forces.

The soldier said the attack led to him using tear gas to repel his assailants, Channel 10 reported Friday. The soldier is also a resident of Bnei Brak, the report said. Protesters claimed that the security forces used tear gas before the attack on the soldier.

Writing in Hebrew on Twitter, Erdran said he instructed police to “bring the lawbreakers to justice” and urged community leaders to speak out against the violence.

“The images depicting an IDF soldier being violently attacked by dozens of young ultra-Orthodox men are shocking,” Erdan wrote. “Bullying must be uprooted. I have instructed the police to do everything possible to bring the lawbreakers to justice. I expect the heads of the Haredi community to condemn and denounce such acts, which are not representative of the Haredi public and only do it harm.”
And the sad part is that a lot of these heads are too cowardly to bother, which only demonstrates why they're sliding into pure disaster so easily.

Update: the defense minister wants to defund inciting yeshivas:
Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman said Wednesday he would take action against two ultra-Orthodox yeshivas after their students took part in riots protesting the military draft.

[...] In response to the protests, Liberman asked Israel Beytenu MK Oded Forer to “work with relevant government ministries to stop the funding” of the Ma’alot HaTorah yeshiva in Jerusalem and the Grudna yeshiva in Ashdod, which are both led by Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach, a staunch anti-draft advocate.

“This is in response to the riots and inciting protests that were held by Rabbi Auerbach’s students over the arrest of an IDF draft-dodging yeshiva student,” Liberman said.

The defense minister also ordered his ministry to reconsider the automatic draft deferral granted to students of those two yeshivas, his office said.
They should do all this now, and not wait.

Europeans increasingly oppose Muslim immigration

Proof that there's Europeans who agree with Donald Trump's special ban on entry from Muslim majority regimes. The Daily Caller (via Jihad Watch) says:
A survey of citizens in ten European countries found that more than half of respondents want to stop migration from mainly Muslim countries.

The survey, conducted by the United Kingdom’s Chatham House Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA), found an average of 55 percent of the 10,000 Europeans surveyed agreed with the statement: “all further migration from mainly Muslim countries should be stopped.”

A majority of respondents from all but two of the countries (the U.K. and Spain) included in the survey agreed with the statement. The percentages of agreement ranged from a high of 71 percent in Poland to a low of 41 percent in Spain.

Chatham House concluded that the survey results “suggest that public opposition to any further migration from predominantly Muslim states is by no means confined to Trump’s electorate in the U.S. but is fairly widespread.”
It's clear there's Europeans out there who've come to recognize the evil that's part and parcel with Islamism, and they've had enough. And hopefully, they'll have had enough of the politicians who've been allowing this as well.

Knesset passes a law to protect Jewish neighborhoods in Judea/Samaria

The Knesset's passed a special bill to legalize a lot of the neighborhoods that the MSM has the gall to call "settlements":
The Knesset on Monday evening passed the controversial outpost regulation bill that will allow the government to retroactively grant permits to contested Judea and Samaria communities. Following a long, stormy session, 60 lawmakers voted in favor of the bill, and 52 voted against it.
This is the good part. Trouble is, it won't be without opposition from the usual suspects:
The new Judea and Samaria Settlement Regulation Law has already been challenged, as several leftist groups have announced they will petition the High Court of Justice to strike it down.
Which is shameful, of course. Especially if the court intends to take a pre-determined standing in their favor. For now, this is great news, and everybody who upholds the new bill should let their voices be known.

Women in Muslim society discover Jewish roots

Yad L'Achim's made some amazing discoveries as they lend a helping hand to some Muslim/Arab women who discovered they actually have Jewish backgrounds/ancestry:
Yad L'achim announced last week that in January they had several cases in which Arab women turned to the organization for help and thereby discovered their Jewish identities.

These women had lived their entire lives as Arabs, grew up in Arab villages and were taught Arab beliefs, lived as devout Muslims, and never suspected themselves to be Jewish.

21-year-old L., 40-year-old S., and 30-year-old A. were born to a Jewish mother and a Muslim father, and did not know their mother's true identity. Each woman approached Yad L'achim separately and of her own accord.
I can only guess - the mothers converted to Islam? Sad. But thankfully, some are beginning to learn the truth.

The PM's meeting with Britain's Theresa May

The Israeli prime minister met with Britain's to discuss sanctions against Iran:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his British counterpart Theresa May discussed Iran, the Palestinians and closer bilateral cooperation in the post-Brexit era during their first meeting in London on Monday.

Shortly after welcoming Netanyahu to No. 10 Downing, May stressed that “we remain committed to a two-state solution as the best way to build stability and peace in the future.”

Netanyahu assured her that “we share with you the desire for peace,” though he did not mention two states.

“This is our dream from day one, we will never give up on our quest for peace with all of our neighbors,” he said. “I think there are challenges there, but there are some new and interesting opportunities because of the regional and global changes.”

Following their meeting, Netanyahu told reporters that he clarified to May that a two-state solution will necessitate Palestinian recognition of Israel as the nation's state of the Jewish people.

“Even with that recognition,” he said, “there is no way in the foreseeable future that Israel will not be the only force with security control west of of the Jordan River.“
And there's no way the PLO and Islamofascists will ever be willing to drop the evil components of their ideology/religion. And no telling if Britain's ever willing to let go of their own obsessions with "two-state solutions." So long as they keep that up, they'll only be part of the problem, which they shouldn't be doing at a time we'd like to appreciate their support for Brexit. The prime minister also made clear there's going to be a vote on a regulation bill to retroactively legalize some Jewish houses out in Judea/Samaria:
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu declared this afternoon (Monday) that the Regulation Law will be brought to vote in second and third readings in the Knesset - with his full support.

"I never said I was interested in postponing the vote. I said that I shall conduct myself according to the national interest as I understand it - and the national interest requires us not to surprise friends."

He said that he notified President Trump through his administration that he intends to submit the bill, adding that such protocol "is important among friends". He did not respond when asked what reply was received from the Americans after the update.
I hope they remained understanding and respectable about it.

Illinois governor warns EU against boycotting Israel

Bruce Rauner's made it clear to the EU that Illinois is against BDS:
WASHINGTON — In the wake of the UN anti-settlements resolution, the governor of Illinois warned the European Union that companies complying with boycotts of Israel or of its West Bank settlements face divestment by the governments of Illinois and other states.

Gov. Bruce Rauner, in his January 31 letter to Donald Tusk, the president of the European Council, outlines Illinois law banning state pension plans from investing in companies that boycott Israel.

“Under our law, the term ‘boycott Israel’ means ‘engaging in actions that are politically motivated and are intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or otherwise limit commercial relations with the state of Israel or companies based in Israel or in territories controlled by the State of Israel,’” Rauner wrote in the letter, which his office released to JTA on February 3.

“Therefore, any attempt by the European Union to direct or encourage companies (including financial institutions) within its jurisdiction, to participate in such activity, including the adoption of sanctions pursuant to the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, may put EU firms at risk of violating Illinois law,” said the letter.
Since we're on the topic, a French businessman's pointed out that such tactics also badly affect European businesses:
“I am told by my lawyers that the UN Security Council resolution is not binding and that its legality is, at the very least, questionable. However, the resolution still calls on states to distinguish, in their relevant dealings, between the internationally-recognized territory of the State of Israel, and the disputed territories, controlled by Israel for all purposes relevant to EU commerce, since 1967.” [...]

Referring to the settlement product labeling notice issued by the European External Action Service (EEAS) in November 2015, Knafou noted that while it was not legally binding, it was “presented as interpreting binding EU law. It says that products that I import from Israel, with Israeli certificates and according with EU customs legislation, cannot be labeled as ‘Made in Israel.’ However, the notice fails to indicate exactly how these products should be labeled.”

“It is unworkable, even for our lawyers, because it is vague and its mandate is undefined,” he stated. “Moreover, it is completely inconsistent with the precedents set by various European courts, including the European Court of Justice…What does the European Union want EU businesses to do in this context? Trying to discern the EU’s intent is a costly endeavor which does not in any way protect or advance European commerce.”
Indeed, no, it most definitely does not. These labeling practices are merely done for the sake of undermining not only Israeli commerce, but also European.

Jihad attack at the Louvre

A jihadist yelling out the common phrase among Islamofascists known as "allahu akbar" attacked a trio of soldiers by the Louvre in Paris with a knife:
The Louvre museum in Paris has been evacuated after what the French Ministry of the Interior has called a “serious public security event” in which a number of soldier opened fire on a knife attacker who cried “Allahu Akbar”.

Soldiers fired five shots to disable a man at the entrance to the Louvre in Paris, France Friday morning after the knife-wielding attacker shouted threats and the well known Islamist phrase “Allahu Akhbar” and attempted to gain access while carrying two backpacks, reports Le Figaro.

The man was shot in the stomach and bomb-disposal teams have been deployed to assess the contents of the man’s bags. Police have said no explosives have been found.

The soldiers, who are among the 100,000 deployed to the streets of France to protect schools, places of worship, railway stations, and sites of touristic interest as part of operation Sentinel were patrolling in a group of three men when the attack took place. One soldier sustained light injuries during the attack.
And Francois Hollande, in his last months as president, still fails spectacularly to do anything proper to crack down on and throw out any of these monsters, demonstrating exactly why their tourism industry has been suffering badly, much like what happened in Israel in the 90s when the Labor party brought in the PLO and led to terrorism. He should be prosecuted for the catastrophe he brought upon the country.

Violence over peanuts: "students" at Berkeley commit arson and vandalism over Milo Yiannapoulous

Whether or not you agree with anything Breitbart editor Milo Yiannapoulous has to say, that's no excuse for the horrific violence and devastation that took place over the day in Berkeley, all because he was going to give a conference at the university, and they reacted by basically indicating they don't even like the very campus they're supposedly attending for an education they're not even getting.

Donald Trump has threatened in response to cut federal funding for UC Berkley - money they get far too much of already - and the government most definitely should disassociate themselves from funding universities, since it only encourages a selfish socialist attitude that's leading to much of this disgust. And all the rioters who committed this horrific violence should be prosecuted for destruction of public/private property, and given heavy fines for their repellent deeds.

Is Canadian government/media trying to cover up key issues in mosque attack?

The Rebel's talking about how, shortly after the initial coverage of the mosque attack in Quebec City, the media - and quite possibly the government/authorities - are now trying to change the whole narrative:
Questions about facts that are less categorical than the need to condemn the attack. Questions about who was involved and what motivated them. And why one narrative was seemingly deleted, and replaced by another.

Twelve hours after the attack, the official media narrative involved not one but two suspects who allegedly yelled, “Allahu Akbar!” while carrying out their murderous rampage.

Witnesses were interviewed across various media outlets. Witnesses who claimed to have been inside the mosque at the time of the attack. All alleged the same: Two assailants stormed in, opening fire while shouting, "Allahu Akbar!" As of Monday morning Canada’s state broadcaster, the CBC, conducted television interviews with witnesses who, again, corroborated the story
.

Thirteen hours after the attack, police forces from every level, held a joint press conference in which they confirmed they had two "suspects" in custody. So, several hours after the attack, police held in custody a man who later was identified as 29-year-old engineering student Mohamed Belkhadir. Police confirmed they continued to treat Belkhadir as a suspect and detained him as such well after he was apprehended at the scene.

But only a few hours later, Belkhadir’s role in the attack shifted:

From a suspect who attempted to flee the scene, to a good samaritan and witness who was providing first aid to victims when he was wrongfully accused by police.

However, one consideration of how many CCTV cameras are in place around the mosque invites the question: When did police review the security footage and why did it take them over 12 hours to determine that Bissonnette was their sole suspect? Why was Belkhadir held for such a long time?

Bissonnette, a man who police say turned himself in shortly after the attack, and was willing to cooperate with police. If Bissonnette was willing to turn himself in, why hasn’t he revealed his motive to police?
There most definitely is something strange going on here. Worst, they're trying to do everything they can to make him out to be a "right-winger":
But the mainstream media can't be bothered with tough questions, quickly obsessed with a new narrative based on a few 'likes' on Bissonnette’s Facebook page.

The discovery that Bissonnette liked two of the most popular politicians on earth (US President Donald Trump and France’s Marine Le Pen) quickly transformed the narrative into a story about a young right-wing extremist committing a terrorist act, even if no terror charges have been laid.

Bissonnette's Facebook "likes': on Canada’s leftist NDP Party page, as well as that of their former leader Jack Layton, have attracted far less media attention.

Journalists and high-ranking politicians quickly jumped on the new narrative, condemning the so-called normalization of hate, and even blaming newly minted President Donald Trump for the attack.

Canada’s state broadcaster quickly shifted its tone. By evening, all witness reports involving two suspects or shouts of "Allah Akbar!" were deleted, and replaced with alternative facts. The CBC even interviewed the former suspect Mohamed Belkhadir and, despite his name being a matter of public record by then, the state broadcaster did not include his name or his face, and even scratched his voice!

Moreover, unlike cases of Islamic extremism, there was no apparent journalistic search for mental illness as the root cause.
It sounds on the surface like this could be another Anders Breivik, but at the same time, it's clear something is being covered up here, and that only makes this all the more disturbing. For all we know, Bissonette could be a convert who turned on fellow Muslims, something which has happened before, and they may not want to reveal anything because it goes against their preferred narrative. Needless to say, that's doing a terrible disservice to Canada, especially after a teen girl was raped by Syrian migrants at a school dance. Justin Trudeau's doing a lot of damage already, barely 2 years into his term of office.

Saudi Arabia is still the enemy

They accuse Israel of "Judiazation" of Jerusalem, as though this had never been before:
Saudi Arabia accused Israel of the “Judaization” of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the construction of hundreds of new housing units.

Saudi Arabia’s cabinet on Monday accused Israel of engaging in efforts to “Judaize” Jerusalem, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Referring to Jerusalem as “occupied Al-Quds,” the kingdom criticized Israel’s recently announced plans to build an additional 566 homes in the Israeli capital as well as another 2,500 housing units in Judea and Samaria.
Well, it's pretty obvious that the House of Saud is still evil, and denies any part of Israel was ever Jewish. And they're still badly in need of penalties for the harm they inflict even on their own.
