Emmanuel Macron represents Islamists and socialists

Professor Guy Milliere explains on Gatestone Institute how new French president Macron is not just an Islamist stooge, but how he was practically supported by socialists throughout his entire campaign. And not only that:
Macron, who won by default, suffers from a deep lack of legitimacy. He was elected because he was the last man standing, and because the moderate right's candidate, Fran├žois Fillon, was sabotaged by a demolition operation carried out by the media and by a political use of justice. Significantly, the legal prosecution of Fillon stopped immediately after he was defeated.
If there's any kind of defamatory smear campaign that's truly stunning, it's the type that brought down Fillon. Indeed, that this was definitely done entirely for the sake of ruining his own campaign and not altruistically shows just how badly corrupted the political/judicial system in France already is.
Macron is not a centrist: he was discreetly supported throughout the campaign by most of the Socialist Party's leaders and by the outgoing Socialist President, Fran├žois Hollande. The day after the election, during a V-E Day ceremony, Hollande could not hide his joy. A few days later, on May 14, when he handed the office of the president over to Macron, Hollande said that what was happening was not an "alternative" but a "continuity". All Macron's team-members were socialists or leftists. Macron's leading political strategist, Ismael Emelien, had worked for the campaign that led to the election of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela.
It's pretty clear that En Marche itself was little more than a way for socialists to rename and rebrand themselves, as they saw the prior party was turning into a sinking ship after all their failures. Besides Macron's own sympathies for Islamists, there's also the "conservative" politician he picked as his prime minister, along with a socialist currently working for him as a minister:
Macron's prime minister, Edouard Philippe, has close ties with the Muslim Brotherhood and favored their installation in the city of which he is the mayor, Le Havre. Richard Ferrand -- a Socialist MP, the secretary-general of En Marche! since its inception, and now Minister for the Cohesion of Territories -- has been financially contributing to the anti-Israel BDS movement and to "pro-Palestinian" organizations for years. Gerard Collomb, the Socialist Mayor of Lyon, and now Interior Minister, financed the French Institute of Muslim Civilization that will open its doors in December 2017.
Needless to say, none of this is helpful for France. It reminds me just how bad both presidents like d'Estaing and Chirac were: both were very anti-semitic, anti-Israel presidents who gave conservatives a bad name, and practically demonstrated how France's problems are prevalent on both left and right.

It's a good thing Donald Trump is now president: at the G7 summit, he ideally steered the discussion away from silly climate change issues and towards the subject of terrorism. We have to hope he can provide France's public with an overseas ally who can help them. As the suicide bombing in Manchester last week proved, the threat of terrorism in many forms is very real and bringing in more Muslim interlopers, as Macron wants to do, will only ensure the horrors continue.
