Donald Trump's scheduled to visit France next month for Bastille Day:

President Donald Trump has decided to take up France's Emmanuel Macron on his offer to visit Paris next month on Bastille Day to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the United States' entry into World War I.

The White House confirmed that Trump would be traveling to France for the July 14 event in a statement Wednesday morning that stressed the US' 'strong ties of friendship with France.'

'The two leaders will further build on the strong counter-terrorism cooperation and economic partnership between the two countries, and they will discuss many other issues of mutual concern,' it said, alluding to expected climate talks.

Oh, please, what's the UK Mail trying to do, twist things to sound in their favor? The other issues should include how crime ridden much of the country's become with Islamofascist invaders around. IMO, Trump should and must say everything possible to aid all sane citizens who don't want France or any other European country to become a jihad-destroyed hellhole. Similarly, even first lady Melania Trump, who'll also be going, could be an inspiration here. The article is noticeably hostile to the Trumps, putting words in everyone's mouths. I guess it was only a matter of time before the UK Mail really went downhill with bits of their own "fake news". Let's not let that get us down, of course. For now, I wish Trump well on his visit, and hope he'll take the time to encourage and inspire when he's in Europe.

Muslims in France ruin everyone's sleep with mosque loudspeakers

More indications that so far, the Macron government isn't going to do anything to prevent Islamofascists from making life miserable for people at night:

The loudspeakers of a Mée-sur-Seine mosque blasting out prayers and songs in the early hours of the morning through Ramadan caused chaos with the sleep patterns of Parisians living in the French capital’s south-eastern suburb, locals have said.

As well as operating year-round on Friday afternoons, the loudspeakers were in action from 11.30 pm each night until past 1 am during the Islamic holy month so as to allow Muslims praying on the streets outside, due to lack of space in the mosque, to hear.

“The loudspeaker is so intense,” a resident told Le Parisien. “We hear prayers, songs and readings delivered in a fashion that is completely disrespectful of people who follow other religions, and atheists.

“Some nights it is impossible to get more than four hours sleep because even after the prayers end, the faithful then engage in discussions which can last for another two hours.”

The French newspaper reports that frustrated locals said neither Mée-sur-Seine’s mayor, Franck Vernin, nor the police responded to their complaints.

The best thing to do is organize a large protest demanding this stop. Whether or not a mosque is big enough, this is all utterly deliberate what the Islamofascists there are doing. Interesting that former president Nicholas Sarkozy doesn't seem to say anything about this, even after he didn't get reelected to run again for the highest post in the country.

Arkansas momument to 10 Commandments destroyed by anti-religious lunatic

The anti-biblical leftists running rampant in the USA produced a vandal who wrecked a monument to the Ten Commandments in Little Rock:

A 6-foot-tall stone Ten Commandments monument installed Tuesday on the Arkansas Capitol grounds was toppled less than 24 hours later after a 32-year-old Arkansas man drove a vehicle into the statue, apparently while streaming the act live on Facebook, officials said.

Chris Powell, a spokesman with the Secretary of State's Office, said he was called early Wednesday and told a man drove a vehicle through the monument. That driver — identified in an arrest report as Michael Tate Reed of Van Buren — was arrested by Capitol police shortly after, Powell said. News reports indicate Reed was previously accused of destroying a Ten Commandments monument in Oklahoma.

The Arkansas arrest report said an officer around 4:45 a.m. spotted a dark-colored vehicle "start from a stopped position and ram the Ten Commandments monument."

"I immediately exited my vehicle and placed the subject in custody," Corporal Chad Durham wrote, noting Reed was first taken to a local hospital before being booked into the Pulaski County jail.

The arrest report for Reed listed "unemployed/disabled" under occupation.

Reed, who was lodged in the jail shortly after 7:30 a.m., faces charges of defacing objects of public respect, trespassing on Capitol grounds and first-degree criminal mischief, according to the report. He was being held without bail pending an initial court appearance.

It was “absolutely” a shock to get the call about what happened, Powell said.

“We had some concerns, just because this was such a highly charged issue with some people,” Powell said.

Sen. Jason Rapert, R-Bigelow, who sponsored the 2015 law to erect the monument on state grounds, called the statue's destruction "an act of violence" and said he expects to be able to raise funds quickly to replace the display.

Most of those funds should come straight from the bank account of the vandal himself. It doesn't take much to guess he'd never have wrecked a monument to Islamofascists, were one to be built, and his destruction of the bible-themed monument in Arkansas just proves he's one morally bankrupt leftist creep.

Illegal Muslim immigrant in Britain gets monetary compensation

What makes this case truly offensive is that the criminal has a record of violent offenses:

Violent Somali immigrant Abdi Yusuf, who is set to receive compensation from the British government for being “unlawfully detained” whilst awaiting deportation, was jailed in June for beating a woman.

Forty-one-year-old Yusuf, who has a history of violent assault, had been detained following a previous jail term because he was considered at high risk of absconding and reoffending.

But a High Court ruled the migrant was eligible for damages for being detained unlawfully at an immigration removal centre pending deportation. The judge said that much of the time spent in custody awaiting deportation was justified – but the final six months were unlawful.

After being released, the Somalian, who has ten convictions for 20 offences and has served prison sentences for actual and grievous bodily harm, brutally beat a woman, reports The Daily Mail.

And yet the court sees perfectly fit to grant him money he doesn't deserve. Such is the sad case in Britain, with all the activist judges going ahead with this, and even the politicians who stand by quietly while nothing is done to stop it.

French court sentences jihadists who attacked Jewish grocery 5 years ago

A positive report from France tells that courts may be getting tougher on jihadists with handing down jail terms:

A French court on Thursday sentenced members of a jihadist network once considered among the country’s most dangerous to between one and 28 years in prison for an attack on a Jewish grocery store in 2012.

The “Cannes-Torcy cell”, named after the towns where its members were based, was accused of having planned several other attacks as well as seeking to join jihadist ranks in Syria before the network was dismantled in 2012. Eighteen men were found guilty and two were acquitted.

The verdict comes after a wave of jihadist assaults in France that have left more than 230 people dead since 2015 and an attack this week on a police van by a car laden with weapons and gas canisters on Paris’s Champs-Elysees.

Analysts say the Cannes-Torcy network signalled a historic shift in France’s struggle against terrorism, to battling mass attacks by Islamic radicals inspired, or even guided, by foreigners.

During the hearing at a special anti-terror tribunal in Paris, the cell was described as “the missing link” between the self-proclaimed Al-Qaeda militant Mohamed Merah — who murdered three Jewish children and a teacher in an attack at their school in the southwestern city of Toulouse in 2012 — and the network that hit the Bataclan concert hall in 2015, killing 130 people.

The prosecution demanded “exemplary punishments” for the cell, headed by Jeremie Louis-Sidney and described as a violent leader with a “boiling” hatred for Jews.

The terrorists shouldn't even be allowed any kind of prayer material in prison, because so long as they have access to Islamic materials, the chances they'll stick with their sickness are greater.

An Austrian politician's bold recommendation

The leader of the party formerly belonging to Jorge Haider, who was notoriously anti-semitic when he was around, is a considerable improvement over his predecessor, and recommends to move the Austrian embassy to Jerusalem:

Heinz-Christian Strache, leader of the anti-mass migration Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) has called for Austria to move its Israeli embassy to Jerusalem, echoing U.S. President Donald Trump.

The FPÖ chief said it was “totally absurd” for the Austrian government to not recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and relocate its embassy from its present location in Tel Aviv. Mr. Strache met with Israeli Deputy Yehuda Glick of the Likud party in Vienna to talk on the subject of “Islam and Islamisation”, Die Presse reports.

He's done a good deed raising these issues. Any European populist who can raise the importance of such issues will be making serious improvements in the continent's relations with Israel.

Court rules airlines no longer allowed to press women to change seats for Haredis

In an impressive ruling, an Israeli court's decided that airlines like El Al can no longer insist women change seats for the sake of Haredi men who won't sit next to the opposite sex:

El Al, and by extension other airlines, may no longer ask women to change seats on a flight due to the requests of haredi men who demand not to sit next to women, the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court ruled.

The phenomenon of ultra-Orthodox men insisting on not sitting next to unrelated women on air flights has developed into a familiar pattern in recent years, with such demands frequently causing problems and delays for airlines due to the refusal of such men to take their seats before takeoff.

Although many leading authorities in Jewish law, including haredi ones, have ruled that there is no problem in inadvertently touching a woman while on some form of public transportation, a trend of ever-increasing stringencies in the haredi world on numerous issues has led to a refusal by haredi men to sit next to or with women.

The ruling, issued on Wednesday, relates to a case brought by the Israel Religious Action Center, the legal arm of the Reform Movement in Israel, in December 2015 on behalf of Renee Rabinowitz, an 81-year-old Holocaust survivor and Israeli citizen who boarded El Al’s Flight No. 81 from Newark to Israel.

Rabinowitz was asked by a flight attendant to move to another seat due to the request of a haredi man sitting next to her. She reluctantly agreed to do so but subsequently turned to IRAC to sue the airline over the incident.

“Requesting a seat change on an airplane before or after takeoff, based on a passenger’s gender, constitutes a breach of the Prohibition of Discrimination in Products, [Services and Entry into Public Places Law],” ruled Judge Dana Cohen-Lekach of the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.

The decision means that it will now be considered illegal and discriminatory for El Al to ask a passenger to move from her seat due to her gender.

When I first read about this particular case, what mattered is that the Haredi man apparently asked the stewards to move the lady somewhere else, and she felt the official who spoke to her either tricked her, or concealed the exact details. Also offensive was that a woman who'd been through a nightmarish situation would be asked to subject herself to something that wasn't all that different from the beliefs of the nazis. As a result, I found it revolting the airplane staff would coddle such insulting customs and beliefs.

Therefore, the success of the lawsuit is something I admire, and will even more provided that the staffs prove their ability to make clear to Haredis in the future that any attempt to delay flights over petty issues will have serious consequences.

A Canadian Muslim stabbed a police officer in Flint, Michigan

Now, here's news of a terrorist attack that occurred in Michigan, which has a significant number of Islamists living around Dearborn, Henry Ford's old stomping grounds (Hat tip: Gates of Vienna):

Police say an airport officer was stabbed in the neck Wednesday morning at Bishop International Airport in Flint.

The officer was taken to the hospital. Michigan State Police said the officer was in critical condition. He has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Police identified the injured officer as Lt. Jeff Neville.

Bishop International Airport was evacuated and is closed.

Police said a suspect has been taken into custody.

The airport released the following statement:

The stabbing incident at the airport remains under FBI led investigation. Local, state, and federal agencies are on scene. The airport remains closed until further notice. The police officer assaulted is in stable condition. The suspect is in custody and is currently being questioned. Please stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates including when the airport will reopen.

NBC’s News’ investigative journalist Tom Winter reports that the Canadian-born suspect shouted “Allahu Akbar” before stabbing Neville multiple times.

The Flint City Hall began operating under heightened security in an abundance of caution after the incident.

“Right now we are still awaiting more information about the situation at Bishop Airport this morning,” Flint Mayor Karen Weaver said. “My thoughts and prayers are with all of our law enforcement officers who work to service and protect us each and every day. I want the public to know that several agencies are involved and working to ensure the situation is under control. However, at this time we are taking extra precautions just to be safe.”

Under Justin Trudeau, the situation with Islamofascists has gotten much worse. Now, the virus has gone across the border and led to some terrible results.

A suicide bomber in Brussels nearly caused death

Another suicide bomber tried to attack a Belgian train station, and fortunately, his devices failed to work. He was killed by a soldier guarding the station (Hat tip: The Jawa Report):

A man who triggered a suitcase bomb in a failed attack at a busy Brussels train station was a 36-year-old Moroccan citizen who was known to the police but was not wanted over terrorism-related offenses, the Belgian authorities said on Wednesday.

The bomber entered Brussels Central Station at 8:39 p.m. on Tuesday, went downstairs from the main ticket hall and began shouting near a group of passengers, according to Eric Van der Sijpt, a spokesman for the federal prosecutor’s office.

He was carrying a suitcase bomb that contained nails and gas bottles, Mr. Van der Sijpt said. The man set off a partial and relatively harmless explosion.

He then left the bag behind while he went in pursuit of a station master, Mr. Van der Sijpt said, and it “exploded a second time, more violently.”

After the second explosion, the man went back upstairs, approached a soldier and screamed “Allahu akbar” (Arabic for “God is great”). The soldier opened fire, killing him. Initial reports that the man might have been wearing a suicide belt proved to be unfounded.

Here's another case where you have a terrorist attack occurring nearly every week, yet almost nothing proper like curfews and deportations is done to prevent these horrors from potentially happening.

Muslim who rammed police van on Champs-Elysee had gun permit

There was another terrorist attack in Paris yesterday, and while the jihadist was shot dead without succeeding in murdering anybody, what's disturbing is that this man, an Islamofascist who was known to authorities, had something innocents are otherwise denied in France by the overlording politicians:

The suspect’s father told AFP that his son “had a registered weapon, he practised shooting”. A source close to the case said the 31-year-old had a firearms permit.

Naturally, this beggars the question how someone so vile could be allowed to have all the firearm permits he wanted, whereas any innocent bystander is forbidden to have any. It proves something is rotten, not in Denmark per se, but in France's political/authority system, and someone owes a serious apology for what they've led to.

Marine Le Pen wins 1st parliamentary election

She may have lost the presidential election, but for the first time, she's won a seat in France's National Assembly, and the Front National itself got nearly 10 percent of the vote:

Far-right leader Marine Le Pen on Sunday won a seat in the French parliament, but her anti-EU National Front (FN) party faced disappointment, winning only four to eight seats, polls and party figures said. The number of lawmakers, if confirmed, would be too small to form a parliamentary group which would give the FN a role in setting the agenda and win positions on committees.

Le Pen, 48, who lost her presidential bid to centrist Emmanuel Macron, triumphed in her northern fiefdom of Henin-Beaumont, a depressed former mining town, the town’s FN mayor Steeve Briois said.

Oh, I wouldn't be too sure the results wouldn't be enough to ensure she'll have some influence. After all, she's a beginner in politics, and this is her first actual election to parliament. Where she failed at presidency, she did succeed in making her way to parliament.

Though Emmanuel Macron's party won a huge amount of seats, it didn't get the vast majority the pollsters/media were predicting, and the French Republicains party got more than expected on their part. There's more about the election here.

In other good news, Meyer Habib was reelected to the Assembly. I'm hoping all of the relevant sources will do their best to make themselves heard on the case of Islamofascism devouring the country now, because that should be the most serious issue facing us all now.

Lady soldier stabbed to death by 3 Muslim attackers near Old City

Some terrorists with at least one machine gun and knives stabbed a female IDF soldier to death as they attacked a group of soldiers at the Old City:

Three Palestinian assailants armed with guns and knives carried out an attack Friday night in Jerusalem that killed one Border Policewoman and left a number of people wounded.

The officer, Hadas Malka, 23, was critically stabbed while attempting to reach for her gun, according to Israel’s Police, and later succumbed to her wounds. All three attackers were shot dead by officers at the scene.

The attack unfolded along Sultan Suleiman Street, near Damascus Gate in the Old City. At one scene, two of the attackers were shot and killed after assaulting police officers with knives and guns. At the other, an attacker was shot dead after stabbing a border policewoman, critically wounding her.

Thousands have attended her funeral. The PLO, in as much an act of contempt for America as for Israel, refused to condemn the murderers, proving why unless Islam is abolished, there'll never be peace between Israel and Arabic countries.

Gateway Pundit reveals that the news some Democrats supposedly prayed for Steve Scalise's well being was apparently fake. Needless to say, it's atrocious in the extreme how they were misleading everyone into thinking the liberals actually cared.

Should a girl be allowed to play on a mainly men's cricket match?

An Israel girl who practices cricket ball was turned down for a match by the Israeli association for the sport because of her gender. But what's bothersome here is that the manager remained vague as to why:

Maccabiah chairman Amir Peled is adamant that Naomi Eytan cannot play. “Just a couple of years ago an Israeli umpire was killed when he was hit by a ball,” he told the JC.

When asked if he is suggesting that cricket is too dangerous for girls but not boys he added, “I didn’t say that. We have our regulations and we cannot allow mixed teams.”

Ahem. If it's because he feels that as a girl, she may not have the endurance for the impact of the ball being thrown by a man, he should say so, yet he remains ambiguous, so I'm not sure what his beef is.

If the case is taken to court, I'm okay with that. I'm not okay, however, with transgender men deliberately pretending to be women and butting in on women's sports to get prizes they don't deserve.

UK arrests koran burners, apparently considering them more dangerous than jihadists

Three tragedies committed by jihadists recently, and who does the government in the UK consider a problem? People who burn korans. Robert Spencer's written about this (Hat tip: Jihad Watch):

The UK’s Mailonline reported the horrifying news Thursday: “Police have arrested two people on suspicion of racial hatred after a video appeared online showing a man burning a copy of the Koran.”

Well, that’s a relief. The British police are to be congratulated, and we all owe them a debt of gratitude, for getting riffraff like this off the streets and into jail where they belong, before more innocent Qur’ans are harmed. After all, twenty-two people were recently murdered in Manchester and seven in London by Islamic jihadis who were incited to violence by the Qur’an, but look! The “far-right” is just as much of a threat as the jihadis, as Britain’s “counter-extremism” Quilliam Foundation claims! Two Qur’ans were burned!

That’s what these arrests of Qur’an-burners are all about: shoring up that sagging narrative, and buttressing the claim that the racist, xenophobic “far-right” constitutes just as much of a threat to Britons as Islamic jihadis. A couple of charred copies of a book of which literally billions of copies exist next to twenty-nine dead is a sad exercise in moral equivalence, but it’s all the British authorities have to work with, and so they’re running with it.

Meanwhile, Sky News reported that in a raid of a safe house that the London jihad attackers used, “investigators found an English-language copy of the Koran opened at a page describing martyrdom.”

One might almost get the idea that the Qur’an had something to do with inciting the London jihad mass murderers to commit their great jihad, if we didn’t have learned imams such as British Prime Minister Theresa May to explain to us that jihad terror is a “perversion of Islam.”

In May’s view, which is, of course, the view of the entire British establishment, jihad terror has nothing whatsoever to do with Islam, and Muslims constitute a race different from that of non-Muslim Britons, such as to insult them – by, say, noticing that Islamic jihadis justify violence against Infidels by referring to clear texts of their holy book — is to commit an act of “racial hatred.”

This could explain at least partially why the Tories didn't do well in the election. The dhimmitude continues apace in Britain, and the whole establishment can only think of lecturing the public what to think/believe. It's an utter disgrace and disrespects the memory of the victims of jihadism.

A Reform group prays at Western Wall without Haredis interrupting

This was last month, but is still very significant in what it proves:

Some 450 people participating in a conference of the World Union for Progressive Judaism were allowed to bring Torah scrolls into the Western Wall plaza and read from them undisturbed on Thursday morning.

The group brought in five Torah scrolls, despite the ban by the Western Wall Heritage Foundation against bringing in private Torah scrolls.

[...] Thursday’s progressive prayer service appears to be the first time that a non-Orthodox group was permitted to bring in and read a Torah at the site.
The group first prayed in the egalitarian prayer area at the southern end of the Western Wall outside the main site, and went to the central plaza to read from the Torah.

When they arrived at the entrance to the Western Wall, security officials of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation said that bringing the Torah scrolls in violated its policies, but when the group insisted they wished to enter with them they were allowed to do so.

No less remarkable was the almost complete absence of harassment and protests of any kind against the progressive service, which was conducted in the upper plaza just behind the men’s and women’s section.

Rabbi Daniel Freelander, president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, described the service as “a perfect experience” and a statement that progressive Jews want to be a normal part of activities at the Western Wall.

“This was a very different experience then we’ve had in the past; there were no protests, no upset and no violence, and hopefully this is a sign of where things are moving,” Freelander told The Jerusalem Post.

“We want to pray at the Western Wall the way we do in our home communities, and we therefore want the government resolution to be implemented,” he continued in reference to the cabinet decision last year to create a state-recognized egalitarian prayer area at the southern section of the site.

Rabbi Gilad Kariv, director of the Reform Movement in Israel, noted that there had been no massed ranks of schoolgirls or yeshiva students protesting against the service, as has frequently occurred at past non-Orthodox services, and neither was there women blasting on whistles, verbal abuse or any other harassment.

Kariv said that three yeshiva students began singing in their direction, which was the only form of protest that was encountered.

He added that the officials from the progressive Jewish denominations had directly informed the Prime Minister’s Office about the scheduled service and that they believed the PMO had asked the Western Wall Heritage Foundation and Rabinowitz to allow the Torah scrolls to be brought in.

Kariv said that the lack of protests on Thursday was proof that the opposition to progressive prayer at the Western Wall was purely political.

I think so too. Those Haredi sources who set all that up still haven't apologized for resorting to violence. This made me think recently: what if Shira Banki had been one of the Women of the Wall group? Do they know how bad it would look if they attacked people like her after what that horrible maniac who was raised under their terrible education system did? I think they're well aware of that, but because the tragedy had no direct impact or relation to that topic, they felt they could get away with it. I've seen how they only seem to publicly react to something abominable committed by Haredi crackpots when it actually makes serious headlines, as did the Beit Shemesh horror in 2011.

The Haredis know perfectly well that prayer alone will not damage the Western Wall/Temple Mount, and that it's ultimately up to God to judge WotW, not the Haredis. Which, IMHO, suggests, believe it or not, that the opposition is technically atheist, or has a warped idea of what God wants, sort of like Islamists. They might also want to consider how many converts to Reform Judaism they may have led to with their offensive reactions - I recently was walking through Tel Aviv, and noticed a possible Reform synagogue with a LGBT flag draped across; what are the odds the Haredis led to so many people to get angry to the point they'd join the Reform in revenge?

If there's any meat to that theory, then the Haredis have only their awful behavior to blame. If they truly don't want that to happen, that's why they'll cease giving the Reforms the attention they don't need. I don't find Reform appealing, but I am willing to respect their wish to pray unperturbed at the Western Wall, and don't think they could come within even miles of "taking over". I'm sure the Haredi extremists don't think so either.

GOP leader Steve Scalise injured by conservative-hating gunman

A maniac opened fire on several Republicans practicing baseball at a park in Alexandria, Virginia, wounding Rep. Steve Scalise in the hip. 4 other people were injured too. The gunman was shot by police escorts before he could do any more damage. The leftarded criminal's been identified:

The shooter at the GOP congressional baseball practice this morning is James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Ill., according to law enforcement officials. Hodgkinson, 66, owns a home inspection business. His home inspection license expired in November 2016 and was not renewed, state records show. Hodgkinson was charged in April 2006 with battery and aiding damage to a motor vehicle, according to online records in St. Clair County, Illinois. The charges were dismissed, records show.

The shooter has two Facebook pages, apparently. His earlier apparent Facebook page contains a banner picture of Bernie Sanders. His other apparent page contains several pieces of content dedicated to stock leftist rhetoric, including a solid amount of anti-Trump content

And amazingly enough, the Democrat baseball group prayed for the victims. (Update: this story's been proven false.) But that does not excuse the fact that Hodgkinson was a product of their educational curriculum, which now led to terrifying results.

Haredi PR manager arrested for serial rape

A haredi businessman has been charged with sexual assault against many haredi women who worked for his company. To make matters worse, he's now working for a girls' seminar:

The owner of a public relations firm active in the ultra-Orthodox community has been arrested on suspicion of rape and other sexual offenses against his female employees.

His firm recently went bankrupt, and since then the 30-year-old Jerusalem resident has been the administrator of a religious school for girls in grades one through eight.

His alleged crimes were committed over the course of about six years, and so far six women have filed complaints against him, police said. On Monday a court ordered him held without bail for five days.

The court imposed a gag order on the suspect’s name at his lawyer’s request. Police have asked the court to lift the gag order, arguing that publishing his name would encourage other victims to come forward, but so far the court has refused.

Police launched an undercover investigation of the man two weeks ago after receiving a complaint from the organization Lo Tishtok, which said he had sexually assaulted various women employed in his office over the years. As the investigation progressed, additional women filed complaints, and police are now trying to persuade others to do so as well.

The complainants accused their former boss of rape, sodomy and sexual assault. They also said he threatened, pressured and manipulated them into complying with some of his sexual demands.

The man’s firm, which he owned with several partners, employed many women, and police said he had a consistent modus operandi: First he would give his victim a great deal of personal attention and promote her. Then he would start humiliating and harassing her and touching her body. Eventually, he would send his male employees out of the office to leave him alone with the victim, at which point he would take her into a private room and rape and sodomize her.

He also threatened the women – most of whom were married and some of whom were even pregnant at the time – that if they rejected his advances, he would destroy their reputations by telling their families and their rabbis about his sexual encounters with them.

In recent years, several serious cases of sexual assault in the ultra-Orthodox community have made headlines because discussion of this issue, which the community once hushed up almost completely, is no longer taboo. This is mainly thanks to the work of advocacy organizations like Lo Tishtok and ultra-Orthodox internet sites, which have raised awareness of the issue and publicized specific cases.

Racheli Roshgold, one of Lo Tishtok’s founders, said the organization began receiving complaints about the current suspect around a month ago. After concluding that they were credible, the organization approached Rabbi Shmuel Eliahu, “who has been very active on the issue of sexual assault in the religious and ultra-Orthodox community. One of the victims told the rabbi what had happened, and with his encouragement and recommendation, we managed to get the victim to file a police complaint.”

Another victim consulted the rabbinical leader of the Hasidic sect to which she belongs, and he, too, “gave his blessing” for her to file a police complaint, Roshgold added.

This is a notable change from the not so distant past, when ultra-Orthodox rabbis discouraged sex crime victims from going to the police, preferring to handle such issues privately. But even though the community has made great strides in its willingness to cooperate with law enforcement agencies against sex crimes, no leading ultra-Orthodox rabbi has yet been willing to speak out publicly against sexual assault.

Roshgold said she expects other victims to file police complaints in the coming days.

The suspect’s lawyer, Ariel Atari, termed the case “a criminal attempt to extort a well-known and admired businessman by several former employees.”

“These employees banded together to extort money from him,” Atari continued. “We intend to do everything possible to reveal the truth, and after the truth is revealed, my client intends to file a libel suit against all the women who submitted false testimony against him.”

The lawyer would do well to shut up and recognize reality. What's particularly atrocious here is the seminar's willingness to hire somebody who engaged in horrible criminal activity. Presumably, he's been sacked now, but it's a highly probable guess they didn't do any background checks or anything else to see if he was sane. So it's lucky he's been caught, and hopefully before he could possibly have assaulted the students at the seminar.

Satmar conduct anti-IDF demonstration in NY

The Satmar socialists came out once more against serving in the Israeli army:

Close to 20,000 Orthodox demonstrators gathered at the Barclays Center arena in Brooklyn on Sunday to protest the Israeli law that mandates Orthodox conscription into the IDF, describing as “Israel’s persecution of religious Jews.” [...]

The rally was led almost entirely in Yiddish by the anti-Zionist Satmar hassidic group amid unrest in ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods of Jerusalem, where violent protests over the issue have erupted in the past months.

[...] When asked why Orthodox men who live in Israel shouldn’t serve in the army, Niederman said the draft law is not about manpower.

“They don’t need manpower to secure their borders,” he said. “There is a hidden agenda here to try to change what the Jewish community believes in, forcing them to change their religion and culture.”

Despite the anti-Zionist nature of the Satmar group and Sunday’s rally, Niederman insisted: “We are not anti-Israel.”

He can take his pathetic defense and stuff it. They're anti-Israel, and they know it. Plus, they're the ones who changed religion and culture, for the worse, not the crowd he's accusing.

British Haredi man kidnapped and raped ex-wife in dungeon

The case was first discovered last year, and is now currently being heard at a British court:

A woman’s ex husband ‘raped her in a secret dungeon’ after refusing to grant a religious divorce.

The defendant, an ultra-orthodox Jewish man, is alleged to have kidnapped her with a friend’s help and then brutally attacked her, a court heard.

The man, 62, tied her up, raped her and left her locked in a cellar, it was claimed.

Police found her later that day tied up, extremely distressed, half naked and covered in bruises, jurors heard, after she managed to call for help.

Although the couple had been granted a divorce in the UK courts, according to Jewish custom they were still married.

In other words, he refused to provide her a with "get". It's terrible she remains with such a selfish community that's otherwise done nothing to help her, and similarly terrible what her husband did to her.

2 in 5 British voted for a loathsome communist

I know we have seen some surprising election results over the past year, but this one is off the scale.

Two in five British people have voted for an unrepentant Communist, a man who has consistently sided with the West’s enemies, a man who regrets the outcome of the Cold War.

I realize that these are big claims and, in a political climate where hyperbole is normal, you might think I’m exaggerating. I am not. But Jeremy Corbyn is not simply a left-wing populist in the mould of say, Sen. Bernie Sanders. Sanders is, as P.J. O’Rourke might put it, wrong within the normal parameters of wrong. Corbyn’s politics do not resemble those of the old Vermont senator, so much as one of those early 20th-century American Communists: John Reed, say, or Eugene Dennis.

The bedrock of Corbyn’s ideology is that the West is always and everywhere wrong. This belief has led him into some strange alliances. He supported the IRA when it was seeking to bomb Northern Ireland into submission. He backed Hamas and Hezbollah. He was a cheerleader for Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. He wouldn’t even condemn the fascist Argentine junta that invaded the Falkland Islands in 1982, because hey, they couldn’t be all bad if they were against us.

Asked whether there was a single conflict in which he would take the side of Britain against its enemies, Corbyn eventually came up with just one example: World War II. Yeah, right, Jeremy: after Stalin had swapped sides in 1941, maybe.

And yet, to repeat, 40 percent of British voters backed Labour candidates on Thursday. What was going through their minds?

While the recent terrorist attacks may have discouraged some voters from voting for the Tories, based on the perception they have no intention of fighting them convincingly, it does look like a disturbing mentality's now prevailing in Britain, and likely was for a long time. And if that's how they're going, it doesn't bode well for the blighty.

It looks like the French courts' response to Sarah Halimi's murder was fixed from the start

Not only does it look like the authorities in France don't want to recognize Sarah Halimi's murder as the result of indoctrinated anti-semitism, it's unclear if the Islamofascist who murdered her will stand trial either:

The French Jewish community is enraged at what seems to be a refusal of the court to try the Muslim who murdered Sarah Halimi Hy”d (May G-d avenge her blood) about two months ago.

Halimi, who was 66 at the time she was murdered, served as a teacher for many years at a Jewish school in Paris. A Muslim attacker stabbed her, then threw her from her third story apartment to her death.

The judges on the court asserted this week that the murderer’s lawyers had brought conclusive proof that he suffers from mental illness and was not thinking clearly when he committed the cruel murder; therefore, it is possible that he may even be released without going through legal proceedings. They said that it is possible that he didn’t even intend to kill her when he attacked her.

The Jewish community in France intends to appeal the decision when it is officially announced, and is demanding that the court relate to the act as murder with nationalistic intent and not as was asserted. A representative of Halimi’s family said that the act was a terror attack, and blamed police for trying to cover up the murder.

The way they handled the case was stunningly incompetent. Let's be perfectly clear: anybody who commits a violent murder has committed a most serious offense and has to take responsibility. They cannot just be allowed to walk free without punishment.

Yoel Margi, who heads “Consistoire,” which provides religious services to Jews in France, emphasized the fact that the suspect had shouted “Allahu Akbar” before pushing Halimi out of the window. “I refuse to accept the easy excuse of insanity for a murderer who tried to make the incident look like a suicide, before eyewitnesses powerless to act,” he said.

Neighbors told police that, late at night, the terrorist had climbed to the third floor of the apartment complex, shouted “Allahu Akbar,” and acted wildly before pushing Halimi to her death.

Which only proves what kind of education he was raised under. It should be noted that besides the poor approach to dealing with antisemitic hate crimes in the country, the courts also dealt leniently with Muslim rapists. In fact, one could say that antisemitism and misogyny go hand in glove.

A prominent intellectual is adding his voice to the list of those who want a spade called a spade:

Michel Onfray, a philosopher, told French newspaper Le Point that he rejected the account of Halimi’s murder depicting it as “not an antisemitic crime, not a crime committed by a Muslim fundamentalist.”

Onfray is one of fifteen leading intellectuals who signed a petition demanding that Halimi’s murder be investigated as an antisemitic crime. The petitioners – who also included the Jewish philosopher Alain Finkielkraut and the feminist theorist Elisabeth Badinter – pointed out that the murder took place at the height of France’s presidential campaign. They argued that the reluctance of the authorities to classify it as a hate crime committed by a Muslim was based on fear that doing so would boost the electoral fortunes of Marine Le Pen, the candidate of the far right National Front.

What's particularly stupefying about this is that even some Jewish reps at the time refused to speak up clearly about the case, because they too literally wanted to believe that the sins of her father fall upon the child in every way. Which makes them just as guilty. They almost fully took part in creating a moral panic, and neglected their duties.

Here's another voice speaking up:

A European Parliament member and prominent French intellectuals protested the omission of anti-Semitism from a draft indictment of a Muslim for the murder of his Jewish neighbor.

Frédérique Ries, a lawmaker from Belgium, on Thursday criticized French authorities’ handling of the investigation into the April 4 incident, in which Sarah Halimi was tortured and thrown out of her third-story apartment to her death, allegedly by Kobili Traore, who lived in her building.

“French authorities have treated her murder with icy silence,” Ries, who is Jewish, said in reference to the fact that Traore, who had no history of mental illness, was placed at a psychiatric institution and has not been charged with a hate crime despite evidence suggesting he killed Halimi because she was Jewish.

In a voice recording of the incident, Traore is heard shouting “Allahu akbar,” calling Sarah “Satan” and calmly praying after her killing, according to reports.

As I noted before, I'm sure the reaction was all fixed and pre-determined, by "lawmakers" who should all have their degrees revoked and be disbarred from ever practicing law again.

Theresa May's gamble didn't pay off

The British election results are in, and while the Tories may remain the largest party in the House of Commons, they fell way short of the goal they hoped for. Yet May herself has decided to press on, forming a government with a Northern Ireland political movement:

British Prime Minister Theresa May said she would form a government backed by a small Northern Irish party after her Conservative Party lost its parliamentary majority in an election days before launching talks on Britain's EU departure.

A stony-faced May, speaking on the doorstep of her official Downing Street residence, said on Friday the government would provide certainty and lead Britain in talks with the European Union to secure a successful Brexit deal.

But with her authority diminished, May risks facing more opposition to her Brexit plans from both inside and outside her Conservative Party, and some colleagues may be lining up to replace her.

"She's staying, for now," a party source told Reuters.

Is that a good idea? Surely the Tories have somebody better than her? Because her exact record on confronting the situation with jihadists now plaguing the UK isn't very good.

The good news is that, due to Labour's Jeremy Corbyn, the Jewish vote went more for the Conservative party this time, though I wouldn't be shocked if the Satmar clannists who live in Britain had little or no problem with with Labour's losers.

Interestingly, a writer for Newsweek says May is channeling "loser Hillary Clinton":

“It’s almost as if Theresa May looked at Hillary’s campaign and said let’s do that,” wrote Robert Shrimsley of the Financial Times, referring to Hillary Clinton’s defeat by Trump.

How about that, they're now admitting Clinton's campaign was a disaster. What took them so long?

The Australian says the UK now faces a weak minority rule. Obviously, that's not good, but May has to shoulder some blame for not showing more guts on some key issues.

District court once again orders Beit Shemesh city hall to remove modesty signs in extremist neighborhoods

Moshe Abutbol has landed back in court for failure to act properly in dealing with the Haredi extremists in Ramat Beit Shemesh:

The Jerusalem District Court has ruled that Beit Shemesh Mayor Moshe Abutbul and the Beit Shemesh Municipality will be in contempt of court if they fail to remove unlawful modesty signs in the city.

Anti-extremism activists hailed Wednesday’s decision as an unprecedented victory in their campaign to halt harassment and intimidation of women in the city.

The signs, which warn women to dress modestly and not to linger in certain places in haredi neighborhoods of the city, were first ordered removed by the Beit Shemesh Magistrate’s Court in January 2015.

The signs remained in place, however, and the issue was sent to the Jerusalem District Court, which in January 2016 demanded that they be removed, a demand that was not complied with.

In his ruling on Wednesday, Judge Yigal Marzel decried the lawlessness in the extremist neighborhoods of Beit Shemesh, in which, he noted, the authorities appear to have abandoned the area to violent radicals.

Marzel quoted the response of Abutbul and the Beit Shemesh Municipality, in which they described the situation in the city as “a war” and “catastrophic,” where extremists are violent toward IDF soldiers, pedestrians and police personnel, throw stones at people and vehicles, and harass and curse people.

“[The state] cannot reconcile itself to this situation, and all the authorities need to take the necessary steps to restore order and observance of the law,” wrote the judge.

Marzel therefore ruled that if the Beit Shemesh Municipality does not remove the modesty signs by July 6, it will be held in contempt of court and fined NIS 10,000 a day, every day, until the signs are removed.

It's worth noting that the police also have to shoulder some blame, if they wouldn't send riot squads to send a message, or declare a curfew on the neighborhoods in question to send a message. But that's one of the things they can do. They can also impose heavy mandatory fines on violent offenders, and make them do hard labor in prison for their crimes against humanity. And Abutbol can be placed under arrest for refusing to respect the law on his part. He and his staff most definitely should be fine heavily for their failures.

A Haredi extremist goes on trial for attacking an army general

Here's news of an anti-military Haredi extremist who's now paying for his crimes:

An extremist haredi man was indicted by the Nazareth Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for attempting to attack the head of the IDF Manpower Directorate, Maj.-Gen. Moti Almoz, and issuing threats against him.

According to the indictment, 40-year-old Moshe Iraam, a Jerusalem resident, traveled on May 5 to Moshav Kfar Tavor in the Lower Galilee, where Almoz lives, and accosted him outside the synagogue after the Friday night prayer service.

Iraam spat at Almoz, and hurled abuse at him based on Iraam’s opposition to drafting haredi men into the IDF. He also accused Almoz of “torturing,” because of IDF regulations allowing for women soldiers to be put in military prison.

Let me get this straight. A man that screwed up actually cares about women being incarcerated for possible felonies? Somehow, I doubt he meant it, and was only looking for excuses to attack the guy. The court should incarcerate the extremist, and make him pay a heavy fine for doing such vile acts.

A rotten rabbi returns

Rabbi Moti Elon, convicted a few years ago for molesting a minor, has resurfaced, and is still running yeshiva lessons:

Rabbi Moti Elon, who was convicted of indecent assault against a minor less than four years ago, this week opened a study center in central Jerusalem.

Elon was convicted on two counts of indecent assault by force against a minor in August 2013, but never served any jail time. Instead, he was given a six-month commuted sentence which he served in community service.

Elon always denied the allegations, never admitted to his crime and never apologized to his victim. Nonetheless, he did not appeal the conviction in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court.

If he never served prison time, he apparently figured there was no need to appeal. What's really galling is that hundreds of idiots seem to have attended his study. But no sane person should give him an audience anymore. It's time for him to be driven out of town.

Right to Jerusalem has firm establishment in international law

An expert legal affairs defends Israel's capital:

The Jewish people's right to Jerusalem was granted under international law at the end of the First World War, a leading international legal scholar said at the UN Monday.

“[The] title over Jerusalem and its Old City was granted to the Jewish people during the San Remo conference of the Principal Allied Powers in April 1920," Dr Jacques Gauthier said at an event by the Christian group European Coalition for Israel (ECI) and the Forum for Cultural Diplomacy, which commemorated the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem with a High Level UN breakfast briefing in New York with the Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, as a guest of honor.

In the Gregorian calendar, June 7 marks the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem.

Gauthier said it was in San Remo that the claims presented on the behalf of the Jewish people on February 27, 1919, during the Paris peace conference - the rights of the Jewish people to reconstitute a Jewish national home in what was then called Palestine - were approved.

"The rights granted in San Remo were incorporated in the treaty of Sevre in 1920 and the Mandate for Palestine approved by the League of Nations in 1922," he said. "These rights included the recognition of the historical connection between the Jewish people and Jerusalem and the right to reconstitute in that City their ancient capital."

For the record, it's about time we stop calling local Arabs "palestinians".

Syrian jihadist attacks French police with hammer at Notre Dame cathedral

The officer who was attacked survived. But terror is still continuing in France:

A man with a hammer cried "This is for Syria" before bashing a police officer in the head outside Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris Tuesday, a top official revealed, as a terror investigation was under way.

The hammer-wielding man also had two kitchen knives and "other unsophisticated weapons" with him before charging toward officers patrolling the esplanade in front of the cathedral, French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said. The wounded officer fired at the unnamed suspect twice, injuring the attacker who was later hospitalized, French police confirmed to Fox News. The specific conditions of both men were unclear.

The suspect had been threatening several policemen and passersby at the time, according to Collomb. Just before 5:30 p.m. local time, the operation was over.

Paris prosecutors have opened a counterterrorism investigation.

It's got much to do with Ramadan taking place as well. The best way to prevent a lot of these attacks would be to close off the enclaves where the jihadists are squatting. But don't expect president Macron to recognize that, or do anything serious to work that out.

Aryeh Deri remains the same as before

The Shas leader who undeservedly became a government minister again has been investigated in a laundering probe by police, and 14 other suspects were arrested. Now, both Deri and his wife, who's also a suspect in the case, were questioned again by detectives:

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and his wife Yaffa were questioned for more than six-hours on Monday afternoon in an ongoing corruption case against him, police said.

This was the second time the Deris have been questioned, a week after they were interrogated for a marathon 11 hours over a slew of corruption allegations.

A statement from police spokeswoman Luba Samri after the interrogation ended said that Deri was questioned from “early morning,” at the Lahav 433 police unit headquarters in the city of Lod.

Samri said there will be no further statement on Deri’s latest questioning, as the investigation is ongoing.

The minister is under suspicion of money laundering, fraud and breach of trust, theft by an authorized person, fraudulent registration, and tax offenses, according to police.

Deri’s wife, Yaffa, is also suspected of various financial crimes, including tax evasion and using money donated to her nonprofit organization to purchase real estate.

Israeli media reported that police are fairly confident of an indictment against Deri for receiving money illegally but at the same time have quietly dropped any mention of bribery charges and are focusing on other suspected crimes. Police say that they expect the investigation to continue for several more months.

I sure hope this'll result in requiring Deri's resignation. He did not deserve to regain the job he should never have had in the first place. I remember that in the late 90s, Mrs. Deri was whining about her husband's being charged, and now, it doesn't surprise me at all she could be so favorable to corruption. They both deserve to be penalized.

The USA should definitely leave the UN "rights forum" because of its anti-Israel stance

It was a good thing the US government decided to leave the Paris climate summit last week. It was meaningless, and wasn't bound to lead to anything truly helpful. Now, Trump will hopefully do another good deed by pulling out of the UN's phony councils due to the antisemitism prevalent there:

The United States is expected to signal on Tuesday that it might withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council unless reforms are ushered in including the removal of what it sees as an "anti-Israel bias", diplomats and activists said.

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, who holds cabinet rank in President Donald Trump's administration, said last week Washington would decide on whether to withdraw from the Council after its three-week session in Geneva ends this month.

Under Trump, Washington has broken with decades of U.S. foreign policy by turning away from multilateralism. His decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement last week drew criticism from governments around the world.

The Council's critical stance of Israel has been a major sticking point for its ally the United States. Washington boycotted the body for three years under President George W. Bush before rejoining under Barack Obama in 2009.

Haley, writing in the Washington Post at the weekend, called for the Council to "end its practice of wrongly singling out Israel for criticism."

It would be a lot better if the UN were defunded altogether, and told to get their cruddy assembly out of the USA entirely. They don't belong in the USA or anywhere else because of the revolting anti-Israelism they espouse.

Britain was already warned by FBI about Manchester suicide bomber in January, and did nothing to stop him

It turns out British intelligence had been warned months before the tragedy in Manchester by US authorities that an attack could happen, and failed to take any action to prevent the Islamist from attacking (H/T: Breitbart):

UK security chiefs were warned in January that Salman Abedi was planning an attack in Britain, it was claimed last night.

According to a security source, the FBI told MI5 that Abedi was part of a North African Islamic State cell plotting to strike a political target in the UK.

The information came from a US investigation into Abedi and his links to terrorist groups in Libya. The Mail on Sunday has also been told that US security services put him on a terror watch list – used by agents to identify key suspects – in 2016.

'The information came from the interception of his communications by US federal agents, who had been investigating Abedi since the middle of 2016, and from information unearthed in Libya, where his family was linked to terrorist groups.

'Following this US tip-off, Abedi and other members of the gang were scrutinised by MI5. It was thought at the time that Abedi was planning to assassinate a political figure.

'But nothing came of this investigation and, tragically, he slipped down the pecking order of targets.'

In other words, the UK authorities have to shoulder blame for not taking any action to put the monster in detention, all because his "rights" were far more important than his victims.

To make matters worse, it's also been revealed that there's at least 23,000 jihadists roaming in Britain, far more than security services have the manpower to keep under surveillance. But even surveillance is not enough. Only detention and deportation will help to prevent these attacks from taking place.

7 people murdered in another terrorist attack in London

Britain's dhimmitude to Islam has resulted once again in the terrible loss of life, with 7 people dead and more than 48 injured in London's Borough Market neighborhood:

At 2208hrs British Summer Time (BST), Metropolitan Police officers responded to reports of a vehicle in collision with pedestrians.

Witnesses have said a white van mounted the pavement and ran over pedestrians.

Armed police arrived at the scene, and around 80 medics treated casualties on the scene.

BBC reporter Holly Jones, who was on the bridge at the time of the incident, said the van was driven by a man and was “probably travelling at about 50 miles an hour”.

Ms. Jones said the van, which was travelling from the direction of central London, headed towards the south side of the river.

An eyewitness told Sky News he saw people who seemed to have been run over and people being placed in an ambulance covered in blankets.

The Metropolitan has confirmed seven casualties, in addition to three attackers being shot dead by armed police, and 48 injuries.

Geert Wilders made a point worth considering:

London, Manchester, Berlin, Nice, Paris etc it will all happen again and again until we acknowledge that Islam is the problem and fight back

Wilders is right. If Theresa May and company, for example, won't acknowledge that Islam is the problem, and won't acknowledge the verses in the koran that led to this latest tragedy, we won't solve the problem.

Did the extremists cross the line?

Some flyers were distributed in Haredi neighborhoods calling on anti-military extremists to murder lady soldiers:

In a severe escalation of incitement against haredi (ultra-Orthodox) enlistment in the IDF, a flyer was recently distributed in Jerusalem’s ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods that called for the murder of women soldiers, IDF commanders and anyone involved in recruiting haredi men into the army.

Until now, the campaign against haredi IDF service has refrained from calling for violence, sufficing instead with severe incitement and vitriolic verbal attacks against haredi soldiers, officers and recruiters.

The flyer, however, is very different from materials normally printed and distributed by such groups. Some doubt has surfaced as to whether the flyers were part of the central anti-enlistment campaign because its wording is unlike that of standard pashkavillim, public notices commonly used in the haredi community.

It was also not professionally printed, as are regular pashkavillim and anti-haredi military service materials.

The flyer, titled “A Ruling of Jewish Law,” instructs young haredi men who are drafted into the IDF: “If they take you by force to the army of destruction, it is permitted for you and you must do the following actions: Take the rifle that you received and kill any woman soldier you come across so she merits [the precept of] ‘be killed instead of transgressing.’ Kill any [IDF] commander who holds you [in the army] by force. Kill anyone who drafts or entices or helps [to draft haredi men].”

The notice also said that soldiers should kill themselves in order to fulfill the precept of ‘be killed instead of transgressing,’ which in normative Jewish law applies only to instances in which one must murder, engage in forbidden sexual relationships or commit idolatry.

Police are investigating the source of the pamphlet, which incites to violence.

So far, it certainly looks like the anti-army thugs are pushing out of the envelope's edge and overboard into incitement to murder in the ways of Islamic jihadists. If those flyers really were the product of evil community minds, then by all means, the culprits should be tracked down and put in a hard labor camp in prison. If they were the product of leftist inciters, then they're the ones who should be made to suffer.

And the extremists who started all this mess should be ashamed of themselves for what they've led to.

Trump disappoints by signing waiver on moving US embassy to Jerusalem

Instead of making everyone proud of him by moving it sooner, all he could think of doing was delaying justice yet again:

President Donald Trump on Thursday signed a waiver that delayed the fulfillment of his campaign promise to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, prompting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to express “disappointment.”
The White House said the decision does not affect the U.S.’s strong relationship with Israel and added that Trump still has every intention of moving the embassy in the future.

“While President Donald J. Trump signed the waiver under the Jerusalem Embassy Act and delayed moving the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, no one should consider this step to be in any way a retreat from the President’s strong support for Israel and for the United States-Israel alliance,” the White House statement said.

“President Trump made this decision to maximize the chances of successfully negotiating a deal between Israel and the Palestinians, fulfilling his solemn obligation to defend America’s national security interests. But, as he has repeatedly stated his intention to move the embassy, the question is not if that move happens, but only when.”

I'm sorry, but that's not good enough. Moving the embassy would've sent a vital message to practically the whole world. Instead, by making a waiver, he only continues to make the situation ridiculous.

Netanyahu’s office reacted to the news with a mixture of disappointment and hope.

“Though Israel is disappointed that the embassy will not move at this time, we appreciate today’s expression of President Trump’s friendship to Israel and his commitment to moving the embassy in the future,” a statement from the prime minister’s office read. [...]

“Maintaining embassies outside the capital drives peace further away by helping keep alive the Palestinian fantasy that the Jewish people and the Jewish state have no connection to Jerusalem.”

Some could even wonder why the Trumps didn't go to pray on the Temple Mount, because that's where the story really begins, not at the Western Wall per se.
