French police in Nimes insult the public's intellect by not admitting car jihadist's act was terrorism

Another jihadist tried to ram pedestrians at a public event. No one was murdered, but the way authorities are going about this does a terrible disfavor to victims past, present and future:
Police arrested a 32-year-old suspect in the early hours of Friday morning after a vehicle struck anti-terror barriers in the French city of Nimes, injuring two.Continuation of the now classic excuse of mental instability, I see. This is exactly how they're allowing jihadists off the hook, not to mention Islam itself, all in the name of moral panics and desperation. For this, they owe an apology to the public.
Although few details about the identity of the suspect are known, police sources reported by Midi Libre state he is believed to have deliberately wanted to hit a crowd of people with his vehicle. He struck anti-terror barriers deployed to prevent exactly that sort of incident, which worked as intended, potentially preventing a number of injuries or fatalities.
Several newspapers, including London’s Times reports the driver shouted Allahu Akbar, although Nimes police say they do not believe terrorism was a motivation for driving the vehicle into a crowded bar and that he was mentally confused. The suspect was not subject to a police S-file, the French system of monitoring extremists.

The French police owe the public much more than a mere apology.
Since they intentionally fail to protect the people
from terrorism, they should be fired from their jobs
and face criminal charges in court.
Once convicted, they should be thrown into the same
jail cells as Muslims, so they can receive a much-needed
education about Muslims.
Additionally, the prime duty of all governments
is to protect innocent people from attack by outsiders.
Since the French government has intentionally failed
to provide this service, they should be removed
from power and replaced by leaders who will
protect the French people from Muslims.
