Tel-Chai Nation: London bus stops defaced with anti-Israel posters

An Islamic movement in England illegally put anti-Israeli posters on London bus stops:

Posters claiming “Israel is a racist endeavor” were spotted on bus stops across London on Wednesday, London media reported.

The phrase mocks a line in the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, which was accepted by the Labour Party on Tuesday night. The IRHA states that “claiming the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor” is a contemporary form of antisemitism.

The large signs with the words written on a plain white background were seen on bus stops in four locations, including Waterloo, Bloomsbury, and Westminster. Police are investigating the incident.

Transport for London (TfL), the local government department responsible for the transportation system in Greater London, responded to a tweet displaying a picture of the sign.

“Hi, these adverts are absolutely not authorized by TfL or our advertising partner JCDecaux,” TfL wrote. “It is fly posting and therefore an act of vandalism which we take extremely seriously. We have instructed our contractors to remove any of these posters found on our network immediately.”

The London Palestine Action group has claimed responsibility for the posters. The group describes themselves as a “network of people in London taking creative action against Israeli apartheid.”

The media has been rife with allegations of antisemitism against UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn recently. However, he is not the only one in London with antisemitic views, and the recent media coverage is fanning the flames of anti-Israel sentiment in a broader scope.

And antisemitism's been rampant in the British media for long periods. But do they take responsibility for all the harm they've done? Nope, and I doubt they care how serious a case this is where the Islamic movement who put up the posters is fanning flames against Israel, and even its descendants living in Britain.
