UK Labour party finally adopts international recognition of antisemitism, but there's still problems

So in a blow to the awful Jeremy Corbyn, the UK Labour party is taking up something they should've long ago, but even so, there appears to be a fishy element in play:
The UK Labour Party agreed on Tuesday to adopt the full international definition of anti-Semitism in an effort to lay months of public rows and ugly accusations of racism to rest. For now, anyway. It sounds more like an excuse to ensure freedom of speech will come without consequence, and even Corbyn will be allowed to remain in the party and espouse his noxious visions against Israel, among other horrors. Well if so, then the Labour party hasn't made much improvement at all, so why should this news be taken at face value? They're not changing for the better, or they would've avoided alleged defenses of free speech build on racism.
The leftist party will embrace all 11 examples of anti-Semitism cited by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance into its code of conduct, but Jewish groups have already attacked an accompanying statement agreed by the NEC aimed at protecting free speech.
One warned it risked giving “racists a get-out-of-jail card” as some MPs made their thoughts clear on Twitter that the party’s divisions are anything but healed.
