Afghan interloper in Holland stabs 2 American citizens

An Afghan jihadist who infiltrated the Netherlands injured 2 tourists fro the USA:
Authorities in Amsterdam say a 19-year-old Afghan citizen who was shot and detained after a double stabbing at the city’s main railway station had a “terrorist motive.”The US ambassador's already released a statement on the topic:
The Dutch capital’s government said in a statement issued Saturday that investigators reached that conclusion based on the suspect’s first statements to police.
The suspect allegedly stabbed two American tourists on Friday before police shot and wounded him. He holds a German residency permit and was identified as Jawed S. in line with Dutch privacy rules.
I want to express my support to those who were attacked at Amsterdam Centraal Station yesterday. We are aware that both victims were U.S. citizens visiting the Netherlands and have been in touch with them or their families. We wish them a speedy recovery and are working closely with the City of Amsterdam to provide assistance to them and their families.Which is already pretty obvious: a jihadist decided to just unleash hell upon innocents, no matter where they stand politically. I can only wonder if the conclusion reached by authorities had what to do with who the victims were, and they didn't want to anger the US for all the wrong reasons. If that's the case, it must be made clear that even European lives matter, and they shouldn't made assessments simply based on the victims' backgrounds. The monster who stabbed those tourists should be punished very severely for all the trouble he caused.
The U.S. Embassy team in the Netherlands stands with our friends in the Netherlands as the authorities seek the full facts as to exactly what happened.
