“Crazy Rich Asians” topped the box office in ticket sales for the second consecutive week after debuting in theaters Aug. 15, according to a studio estimation Sunday.And the reason it's such a success is because it's not "woke" as leftists tend to say these days. In addition, I'd say what'll make it a great form of pastime is because it's not a sci-fi film heavy on special effects. That's why I'm going to give it my backing.
The “Crazy Rich Asians” flick by Warner Bros. brought in an estimated $25 million in ticket sales in U.S. and Canadian movie theaters from Friday to Sunday, The Associated Press reported. This romantic comedy is the first blockbuster to have an entirely Asian and Asian-American ensemble cast in 25 years and grossed $76.8 million in total since its debut.
