Liberman breached the health ministry's instructions on Corona conduct
Yisrael Beytenu Chairman and former Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman admitted to hosting his son on Seder night despite the state-imposed curfew established as part of the fight against the coronavirus. It may be one thing for the Netanyahus to have their son attend, if he lives so close, but if Liberman's relatives live farther away, that's another. In any case, it seems Liberman believes multiple wrongs make a right, thinks that just because others may be doing it, so it's entirely okay for him to do it too, and worst, he's taking the "it's everyone else's fault but mine" pathway. He's acted irresponsible at a time when caution is needed, proving once again what an awful man he really is.
Liberman refused to comment on a Channel 12 mention of his breach of guidelines, instead placing the blame on the Prime Minister: "Netanyahu and Litzman's decision to enforce a general lockdown...on Passover eve as a solution to the ongoing testing failure on the one hand and the hope of appeasing the haredim on the other, is a disgrace. The clear conclusion from [Netanyahu's] Seder [directives] is that [he], himself, does not believe in the methods he is [enforcing]."
On Seder eve, Prime Minister Netanyahu hosted his son Avner at the Prime Minister's Residence on Balfour Street, and was harshly criticized for his actions. Netanyahu stated that Avner lives in a secure complex in a nearby apartment building opposite his official residence.
President Reuven Rivlin also hosted his daughter at the Seder dinner. Rivlin apologized for the apparent infraction saying, "I read the harsh responses and understand where most of them [are coming from]. Since [my wife Nechama's passing] my children have been a big help in my personal affairs."
