PLO is not faring well with Corona effects

The Times of Israel reports the PLO's having a pretty bad time with Covid19, forcing them to do another lockdown in their areas:

The Palestinian Authority will enact a partial lockdown in the West Bank for the next 12 days after cases more than doubled over the past two weeks, PA Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh said Saturday.

The steps will include a closure of all educational institutions; a ban on travel between provinces; a ban on the entry of Arab Israelis; a ban on all parties, weddings and funerals; a nighttime curfew, with all vehicular travel prohibited; and a full lockdown on weekends.

[...] According to the PA Health Ministry, there are currently 12,015 active cases in the West Bank. Two weeks ago, there were only 5,971 West Bank cases, the Health Ministry reported.

Around 24 percent of coronavirus tests came back positive across the West Bank on Saturday. In some governorates, this has risen as high as 30% over the past few days.

[...] While Israel has surged ahead in vaccinating its population, potentially allowing it to avoid a fourth wave, Palestinians have yet to obtain a significant amount of vaccines, although some medical staff have been vaccinated.

Shtayyeh said the first major batch of vaccines to reach the Palestinians — part of a two-million-dose deal inked with the British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca — would arrive in the first week of March.

“We’ve paid for $10 million in doses. We had expected them to arrive by the end of February, but there has been a delay associated with the manufacturing company, not with us,” Shtayyeh said.

What if it turns out they haven't made much of an effort to vaccinate their public, if at all, apart from the higher echelons? Considering how antisemitic the PLO is, and how they continue to indoctrinate their subjects for the same, that's why it's hard to feel sorry they got struck by something like this. Last year, it was reported that a lot of the most serious cases were in Hebron.

The real image of Khashoggi: he was pro-jihadist

Caroline Glick reveals some most interesting details about the assassinated "journalist" Jamal Khashoggi, explaining the real reason the Obama administration, and now Joe Biden's fraudulently elected one, are against Saudi Arabia:

MBS and MBZ from the UAE were big problems for Obama, Robert Malley and their ilk. They appeared out of nowhere.

Young and vigorous, they seek to liberalize their conservative societies. They are deeply opposed to Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood. They are open to peace and cooperation with Israel. They support Israel in its campaigns against Hamas and Hezbollah. And they are certainly “authentic” Arab Muslims. When the UAE declared the Muslim Brotherhood, and Obama’s key supporters and ideological allies at CAIR terrorist organizations, Obama and his comrades were so angry they could barely put together a coherent sentence.

This brings us to Khashoggi. As Lee Smith reported after he was found dead in the Saudi consulate in Turkey, there were a lot of things about Khashoggi that made him a strange hero for Americans of any stripes. He was a Qatari agent of influence. He was a former Saudi intelligence officer who sided with the Wahabist jihadists in the royal family who supported al Qaeda. He was friends with Osama bin Laden and mourned his death. The al Qaeda, ISIS, Iran and Hamas supporting Qatari regime was essentially writing his columns in the Washington Post.

Khashoggi’s receipt of a green card made no sense. His gig as a columnist at Jeff Bezos’s paper made no sense unless seen as an effort of Obama’s deep state friends, particularly former CIA director John Brennan, who opposed MBS from the outset. And then it made perfect sense. In other words, Khashoggi, a terror supporting Qatari agent against a modernizing, pro-American, anti-jihadist and pro-Israel Saudi Crown Prince was an important political warfare asset for Obama’s clique. His job was to discredit MBS and legitimize the terror-supporting Qataris while making pro-jihadist progressives feel good about themselves.

I’m not saying his murder was justified. I am saying he doesn’t deserve the tears of anyone who opposes jihadist terror and jihadist regimes, cares about human rights or wants to avoid a major war in the Middle East.

Whatever Khashoggi’s ties were with Obama’s clique during his lifetime may have been, the way they responded to his murder made clear what they hoped to do with his death. They wanted the old, bad Saudi Arabia back. They wanted the Muslim Brotherhood funding, al Qaeda-spawning Wahabists of Riyadh back. The Prince Bandars and Prince Turkis of the days of yore, not the guy that gave women drivers licenses.

While I don't think bin Salman should be allowed to invest in certain foreign businesses, as he's been doing, and even now, it's always possible there's reasons to distrust him on specific issues, Glick's right that we shouldn't be sympathizing with Khashoggi, because he was a jihadist sympathizer himself, and I almost forgot that a few years ago, I'd mentioned the dark side of the man. Somebody so monstrous definitely deserves no shed of tears.

Anyway, where bin Salman is doing the right thing is if he's lifting requirements for women to wear niqabs according to Islamic sharia, and allowing them to drive cars and trucks, among other things. Though we should still make sure not to turn the other cheek, because if he still adheres to Islam, that's concerning, as he's sticking with the very Religion of Peace the Iranian and Qatari regimes are, and those who complain about the nuclear warfare conducted by Iran yet remain nailed on the same religion their beliefs stem from is not going to solve the problem.

Judge thankfully rules in favor of Miss USA to protect women's rights against transgender ideology infiltration

The Daily Caller says a judge has thankfully ruled in favor of the Miss USA pageant excluding transsexual activists, who obviously just want to achieve 15 minutes of fame, and to potentially invade women's privacy in the dressing rooms:

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit brought by a transgender woman who accused Miss United States of America of discriminating against her after they denied her the right to compete because she was not a biological female, according to reports.

Pageant contestant Anita Noelle Green sued Miss U.S.A in December of 2019 after she alleged the pageant denied her application and refunded her entry fees on the day she applied.

The Miss U.S.A pageant only allows “natural born biological females” to compete, according to a Motion to Dismiss filed by the pageant.

The pageant argued that under the First Amendment it has rights to free association. The pageant argued that the pageant is meant for biological women and that allowing Green to participate would “undermine its vision” and that had the court ruled in favor of Green it would be undermining the pageants “message about empowering only biological women.”

As noted above, in addition to the high possibility of a man in disguise robbing a woman of championship, such infiltration could also lead to invasions of privacy, which is what Joe Biden's executive order is bound to end up leading to in the worst ways possible if it becomes law. So this is a most fortunate ruling, one that all concerned about women's rights must make sure can apply in other situations as well where male masqueraders are trying to destroy women's lives and careers. Biden's really taken the far-left agendas too far, and his actions cannot be allowed to go unopposed.

Some of the most ludicrously PC nominations for Golden Globes

Just like the Oscars, even the Golden Globe awards have long become irrelevant. The Federalist looks at some of the nominations for this year's farcical ceremony (most likely done online due to Covid), and one of them looks like a most particularly egregious example:

Whereas “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” romanticizes the budding nature of the film and TV industry in the ’60s, Netflix’s “The Trial of the Chicago 7” trivializes rioting and looting in the ’60s by leftists. It romanticizes violence. Written and directed by vocal Trump-hater Aaron Sorkin, the movie depicts anti-Vietnam and counterculture figures who took to the streets.

Sorkin’s third directorial movie is based on a group of leftist activists charged in 1969 for inciting a riot at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Abbie Hoffman (played by Sacha Baron Cohen) was a leader in the “Flower Power” movement of the ’60s, and a drug dealer who would eventually hide from police after being charged for selling cocaine in 1974. Bobby Seale, the co-founder of the militant Black Panther Party, is characterized as a hero.

There are obvious implied messages in “The Trial of the Chicago 7” that detract from its entertainment value. Police are all “pigs” who supposedly attack the rioters first, Republicans are careless and abusive of shared freedoms, and hippies were moral citizens regardless of their frequent violent outbursts.

It could also be described as normalizing and sensationalizing violence, and that's easily one of the worst things about such a production. Desensitization to violence is one of the most serious issues that's brought about the collapse of civilized worlds, and combined with the rabid leftist viewpoint in this film, it'll make for one of the worst examples of modern moviemaking's corruption.

The importance of Black American inventors

Ken Blackwell's written about why it's important to take note of Black American scientists and inventors in American history:

Thousands of African American inventors have transformed America. Black inventors have created groundbreaking products for centuries ranging from Lewis Lattimer, who helped construct a commercially viable lightbulb, to Marshall Jones, who pioneered laser use in industrial manufacturing.

Many of these innovative geniuses are unknown today, and it is critical to educate the public about the invaluable contributions of Black inventors.

Yair Lapid's crookedness can't be overlooked

Leftist Lapid, if it hasn't been discussed enough, poses a serious threat for Israel, based on the likelihood he'll end up getting the most votes on the left end of the spectrum for Knesset, and Benjamin Netanyahu made a related point the other day:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu derides right-wing rivals Gideon Sa’ar of New Hope and Naftali Bennett of Yamina, claiming they will partner with the centrist Yesh Atid and its leader Yair Lapid after the election to form “a left-wing government.”

“It’s the eve of Purim, and Bennett and Gideon keep wearing costumes. They say all day ‘We won’t sit with Lapid.’ You ask them about the weather and they say ‘We won’t sit with Lapid.’ They’ve got to deny it, but they have no way of forming a government without it being a left-wing government headed by Lapid,” Netanyahu says.

Notably, neither party has said it will not sit with Lapid in a coalition, only that he will not lead that coalition.

Bennett may have belatedly said he won't sit in a coalition with Lapid, but that doesn't mean damage wasn't done. What if Lapid is willing to form a coalition with the anti-Israeli Arabic parties in the Knesset? That's something that can't be ruled out as a possibility. And if that happens, Bennett is unlikely to admit he's guilty of causing trouble that could've been avoided by being divisive. If somebody as awful as Lapid regrettably is takes over the premiership, Bennett will owe a considerable apology.

Update: Caroline Glick also wrote in Newsweek about why Lapid will spell disaster if he manages to become prime minister, the danger posed by Bennett, and also noted how one of Lapid's potential allies, Saar, was associating with members of the anti-Trump activist group, the Lincoln Project, whose leader has been accused of sex offenses:

...Sa'ar's party is now polling between 11–14 seats. Pollsters assess that around 30 percent of Saar's voters come from Likud's base. By pledging not to join a Netanyahu-led government, Sa'ar's party is the only one moving votes away from the right-wing bloc to the left-wing bloc. Sa'ar hired NeverTrump political consultants from the Lincoln Project to run his campaign. While he was forced to suspend the Lincoln Project's consultancy following embarrassing disclosures about the group's decision to suppress criticism of their colleague John Weaver despite his well-known online sexual harassment of young men, Sa'ar is following the group's NeverTrump playbook. His campaign is based on personal attacks against Netanyahu, whom Sa'ar insists is destroying the moral fabric of Israeli politics.

All Saar does is demonstrate what an ingrate he truly is. And what a disaster for the political scene he's bound to become, along with Lapid.

More Haredis set bad example by forging permits for flying on airlines while infected with Covid19

We have here another case of Haredi screwballs acting as fifth columnists and basically embarrassing the Jewish community as a whole. Here, it's some airline passengers who appear to have faked Covid19 test results so they could ride an Israeli airplane to Tel Aviv, and even the plane staff has to shoulder some blame:

Authorities suspect passengers on a so-called rescue flight from New York to Tel Aviv Sunday boarded the plane with forged negative coronavirus tests, while carrying the pathogen.

At least 11 of the ultra-Orthodox passengers on the flight, approved despite the general flight ban to enable Israelis abroad to return to the country, have been diagnosed with the virus since arriving, sending dozens of passengers on the flight into quarantine.

Passengers report hearing some of those same passengers boasting they had acquired fake negative test results to board the flight.

I may have mentioned this before, and will again: I once noticed some Haredi passengers at an Italian airport ducking under some divider rails so they could reach the customs line faster. But this is taking things to a whole new level. Especially when you consider the following:

A passenger tells Channel 12 the ultra-Orthodox passengers also failed to wear masks for much of the time and stood near other passengers. He says repeated requests to flight attendants to enforce mask-wearing and distancing did not help, and that the latter were afraid of confronting the Haredi passengers on the matter.

The Health Ministry in coordination with other investigative authorities is probing whether the passengers forged their tests.

Whether the attendants were worried the Haredis would act violent or infect them with illness, it makes no difference. This is a textbook example of people acting "cucked" and not showing the guts to bravely face potential criminals and make clear their misbehavior will be penalized. They should be banned from the airline for their violations, and it'll remain to be seen if they have the guts to do even that. Even the airline staff should be penalized for not enforcing laws properly.

I don't know if the following is related, but in better news, some Haredi families who broke the law were deported:

Israel has prohibited the entry of two ultra-Orthodox families from the U.S. into the country after they presented forged entry permits from the Ministerial Exceptions Committee.

The first family of 13 was deported back to New York Wednesday night, while the Population and Immigration Authority was examining further actions against the second family of seven whose mother is an Israeli citizen.

Ben Gurion Airport has been shuttered to all commercial flights in order to battle the spread of new coronavirus variants, with all arrivals needing a written permit from the Exceptions Committee to enter Israel via one of the country’s rescue flights.

Due to the overwhelming amount of Israelis stranded abroad. however, the waiting period for such a permit is often lengthy.

"I submitted three applications until they let me return from the work trip I was on," said Shlomi, who waited for two weeks before receiving a permit. "It became clear to me after a week that two of my requests had been lost. I had to wait, submit documents over and over again and fight for a plane ticket while some groups decided to simply forge a permit.”

The Population and Immigration Authority said in response, "two families arrived on a United flight that landed from New York. One family of 13 foreign nationals presented forged permits and were denied entry.”

“A second family whose mother is an Israeli citizen, the father is a foreign national and six children, also arrived with fake permits. Their issue is being handled in a specific manner in accordance with their specific situation. In any case, the police were called to deal with the forgery of the documents which constitutes a criminal offense."

On Tuesday, it was revealed that eleven people who landed at Ben Gurion Airport on an El Al rescue flight from New York on Sunday tested positive for coronavirus after apparently presenting a falsified negative test required to board the plane.

Again, it's not clear if these were any of the same people as before, but what is clear is that these are scoundrels who believe it's permitted to exploit non-Haredis and disobey their laws no matter what. For that, those who were deported deserved to be thrown out of the country.

If all Naftali Bennett cares about is taking votes from Likud, then he's not altruistic

The Yamina party's bias is showing, with Ayelet Shaked doing Bennett's bidding during a Zoom conference for their election campaign:

"We are trying to bring in as many Likud members as possible. We think that this time Netanyahu will not take votes from us but rather we will take votes from him. There are two Likud seats that want to move to Yamina and we are doing everything we can to get them to move to us," Shaked concluded.

I guess it's just so much more important than convincing leftists why it's better to support conservative-leaning parties instead, right? Bennett himself presented a forced negative viewpoint that doesn't look at any positives, and certainly comes off jumbled:

Asked about a possible coalition with Lapid, Meretz and Labor, Bennett replied, "Netanyahu is the one who went with Mansour Abbas. Netanyahu is the one who went with Barak, Netanyahu is the one who went with Nissenkorn. Netanyahu is the one who threw away religious Zionism. We will form a national government. We will not go with any party that Netanyahu would not go with. We do not rule out Zionist parties that will take part in our government."

I'm confused here. I think what Bennett, who's always shown himself to be of very questionable character, is really saying is he wants to be premier instead, and sees himself as the perfect replacement for Netanyahu. Considering he's bound to only get a single-digit result in this coming election, that's sure saying quite a bit. Besides, as this news clip suggests, he might be willing to go with leftists like Yesh Atid, just as Gideon Saar's bound to do:

Former Minister Merav Cohen of Yesh Atid estimates that Yamina and New Hope will be members of the coalition Yair Lapid will establish.

"Gideon Saar is not indicted, and what guides him are matters of fact, so negotiations can be done with him," Cohen told the Knesset channel.

Naturally, they want to view the petty charges against Netanyahu as entirely legitimate, whereas Saar is literally better in every way (and Saar drive by "fact"? Don't make me laugh). That aside, there are suggestions that Bennett's willing to do something like this, all out of petty grudges over Netanyahu not taking him into the coalition, even though Bennett did take steps that'd make it difficult, when here he didn't have to. My intellect's been insulted by Bennett - and Shaked - for far too long, based on how they've done only so much to give the vibe they're more obsessed with attacking Netanyahu than in actually presenting a convincing platform. Now, they've done it again, and it's insufferable by now.

So-called "equality act" in Congress declares Bible a bigoted document

The Coalition for Jewish values is disturbed by how the Democrats' forced pandering to LGBT ideology basically ends up damning the Bible:

The Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), representing over 1500 traditional, Orthodox rabbis in matters of public policy, called today for the rejection of the Equality Act as “a direct attack on Jewish religious values and practices.” The Equality Act, H.R. 5, is slated for votes on Thursday in the House of Representatives. [...]

For example, the text refers to “the sex stereotype that marriage should only be between heterosexual couples” as a discriminatory belief. Per the letter:

The Equality Act expressly declares that the Book of Genesis and all of the Jewish laws pertaining to marriage as a sanctified union between man and woman (called “kiddushin” in Hebrew, from the word “kadosh,” Holy) are nothing more than engagement in discriminatory stereotypes. This is a disgraceful attack upon Jewish Biblical beliefs, rendered no more excusable by the fact that other traditional religious groups have similar tenets.

The letter also lists numerous elements of normative observant Jewish practices which would be grounds for a discrimination complaint under the proposed legislation, including separate seating at weddings, single-gender dancing, and even separate hours for swimming. “A law which would require recognition of the gender a person prefers to be… would demand we cease to operate in accordance with our sincerely-held beliefs, moral values and religious education — expressly violating our religious liberty,” the rabbis said.

Specifically, the "act" is meant to enable male transvestites to infiltrate and violate a woman's privacy, and that could even be at religious institutions and synagogues. But don't be shocked if the Democrats manage to pass this through in their effort to destroy everything about the Constitution that's meant to protect innocents from the harm this'll end up doing in the long run. It's very sad it had to come to this.

Shutting down the conversation surrounding certain topics such as transgenderism, Anderson said, is dangerous and only enabled by policies such as the Democrat-proposed Equality Act.

“It’s an abuse of our civil rights law when we add all these different protected classes and when we treat reasonable disagreements as if they’re discriminatory,” Anderson concluded. “We’ve done it on the gay marriage debate; we’re now doing it on the transgender debate. And the Equality Act would just make this worse.”

Absolutely correct.

Canadian leftist staffers at government outfit got a writer for Jihad Watch fired for daring to criticize political Islam

Rebel News found some terrible information informing that a contributor to Robert Spencer's site was fired from a government division for her political positions:

Internal emails show that the Department of Canadian Heritage started gathering “emergency” information on the public speeches and writings of a critic of political Islam in the months before she was removed from her position at the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF), an arms-length government agency that aims to combat racism.

Christine Douglass-Williams is a long-time contributor to the Jihad Watch blog, and was a board member at the CRRF from 2012 to 2017, when she was fired after being investigated for her views.

This is atrocious, and an example of cancel culture over in Canada. All under a political outfit. It's simply terrible Canada has to be in such a situation.

France seems to understand what's wrong with leftist academia in America

Here's an op-ed in the New York Sun telling how Emmanuel Macron, of all people, has warned why American leftism would be bad for French academic institutions:

President Macron of France has now warned his countrymen of the menace of American academic and media “woke” thinking and of identity politics as a formula for social oppression and disunity.

France is officially focused entirely on the integration of its entire population into a cosmopolitan French whole, and in a peculiar arc of alliance between nationalist academics, intellectuals, and conservative politicians, all are warning against the importation of what they regard as degenerate and self-destructive American academic faddishness.

France has been warned by its leaders from Right to Left to beware of what is effectively referred to as the latest manifestation of American madness (a phenomenon the French profess to have identified many times since the Marquis de LaFayette assisted General George Washington in securing the surrender of the British at Yorktown in 1781).

The French president became so exercised by comments in the New York Times critical of what was described as the repression by France of Muslims that he telephoned and upbraided a senior Times officer for misrepresenting his policy of “universalism,” which he declared to be the unification of all citizens regardless of their ethnicity or sectarian attachment.

In October, he had announced a series of measures to combat “radical Islamism,” including placing direct government control on mosques, requiring that Muslim clergy are trained and certified in France, and banning Muslim apparel that disguises identity and overstates a religious affiliation.

The only part I would dissent on is the notion of having Islamic clergy around at all, based on what a bad influence the Religion of Peace is to begin with. But they're right about US academia run amok with leftism, and for all the pluses the US had in the past, the sad part is that they've also been one of the worst offenders in political correctness, and today, it's reached an especially terrible low, courtesy of all the trouble caused by far-leftists in America, including, but not limited to, those desensitized to violence. Just look what's happened to New York under Andrew Cuomo, of course, along with states like Oregon and Washington. If such cancer can be cured at all, it could take ages. And it's a bad influence for Europe as well. So after a few years of questionable governance by Macron, this is one good thing he's done.

Amos Oz's daughter accuses him of child abuse

The late Israeli novelist Amos Oz was a far-left advocate who took some very reprehensible positions harmful to the country. Now, a daughter of his is accusing him of child abuse a few years after his passing:

A daughter of the late, highly acclaimed Israeli author Amos Oz says her father “serially abused” her, physically and mentally, until his death in 2018.

Galia Oz details her father’s alleged abuses in a new autobiography, “Something Disguised as Love,” which has shaken Israel’s image of the novelist, considered among the country’s greatest writers and a perennial Nobel prize favorite. Oz died of cancer in 2018.

“During my childhood, my father beat, cursed and humiliated me,” she wrote.

“The abuse was creative: He would drag me around the house and throw me onto the stoop outside. He would call me garbage. He didn’t lose his cool and this wasn’t an occasional slap on the face but a routine of serial abuse,” she said.

“My crime was that I am me, and so the punishment was unending. He needed to be sure I was broken.”

Writer Yehuda Atlas, a friend of Galia Oz, told Army Radio, “I knew about these stories. It’s difficult for us leftists, Amos Oz was our golden prince, but it seems even the moon has a dark side.”

Some of his other relatives are defending him, but who knows? Could this be true? If it is, it'll certainly end up making some wonder if this is what leftists are like behind the scenes with their family life.

As Atlas acknowledges, Oz was a leftist, and towards the article's end, it says:

Oz was also among the country’s most vocal left-wing activists and supporters of a two-state solution.

And this kind of news makes you wonder if such behavior as alleged by his daughter goes hand-in-glove with anti-Israelists and traitors.

French judicial system is putting Marine Le Pen on trial

If you want to know of another War on Women taking place - this one against women opposed to Islamofascism - it's what the leftists in France are doing to Marine Le Pen, putting her on trial for publicizing pictures online of violent atrocities committed by Islamic State:

You thought it would stop with the defaming and deplatforming of foes of jihad terror? No. Soviet-style judgments of insanity are next. And what will come after that? The answer is clear enough.

AFP reported Tuesday that French “far-right” (i.e., opposed to mass Muslim migration and French cultural and political suicide) leader Marine Le Pen “goes on trial Wednesday on charges she broke hate speech laws by tweeting pictures of Islamic State atrocities, a case she has slammed as a violation of free speech.”

Not coincidentally, Le Pen is riding high in the polls, and she “will likely face off again against Emmanuel Macron in next year’s presidential contest, after her National Rally made its strongest showing ever in the 2017 vote.”

She has gone on trial, and was previously ordered to undergo psychiatric testing, because she “shared the gruesome images in December 2015, a few weeks after Islamic State group jihadists killed 130 people in attacks in Paris, in response to a journalist who drew a comparison between IS and her party. One of the pictures showed the body of James Foley, an American journalist beheaded by the Islamist militants. Another showed a man in an orange jumpsuit being run over by a tank, and the third a Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage. ‘Daesh is this!’ Le Pen wrote in a caption, using an Arabic acronym for IS.”

Why did she do that? Out of a lurid fascination with blood and gore, or some secret sympathy for the Islamic State’s jihad? No. She tweeted out those images because her party was being likened to the Islamic State in the French media. In a bid to bring the national discussion back to some semblance of sanity, she pointed out – by means of visual aids – that her party was not behaving in the same way as the Islamic State, and not leaving a trail of bloodshed and death in its wake.

And yet, the establishment decided to try her anyway, because she represents opposition to their PC communist reign. Anybody who doesn't oppose this cannot claim they're a convincing opposition to Islamofascism that's still a serious threat, even at a time when Coronavirus is still a problem.

Biden continues his War on Women

Fraud-in-Chief Joe Biden wants Congress to recognize his "equality act" for the sake of allowing male supremacy under the guise of transsexuality:

President Joe Biden released a statement Friday urging Congress to “swiftly pass” the Equality Act, a bill that would eliminate the legal recognition of male and female sex, cater to gender ideology, and designate protection for the unborn as “pregnancy” discrimination.

[...] The House is expected to vote on the Equality Act, H.R. 5, next week. The legislation, which would rewrite civil rights law to include “sexual orientation and gender identity” as protected classes, would likely upend the national culture as Americans have known it.

The worst part is that Kamala Harris is bound to ensure its passing, since she's already proven such a phony. Ryan Anderson of EPPC says:

Exactly, and read the rest of his essay for more. But the liberals who oppose gender ideology yet voted for Biden as a president anyway, are reaping what they've sown. The stunning mistake only so many like them make, including the entrepreneur Haim Saban, to name somebody who came from this side of the globe to work in the US, and no matter what he thinks of how conservatives run their policy, he continues to vote for the Democrats anyway, and even promote positions they'd favor. Exactly why realists shouldn't do business with people like that.

It's going to be a very uphill battle in order to put a stop to this terrible situation that's only legitimizing misogyny and gender bigotry in the USA. A truly terrible situation we have here.

Equatorial Guinea will move its embassy to Jerusalem

Here's some great news on diplomacy, as another country has agreed to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capitol:

Equatorial Guinea plans to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the first such pledge of its kind under the new administration of US President Joe Biden.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the matter with Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on Friday, after which his office put out an announcement on the matter.

Netanyahu said he welcomed this trend in which countries relocate their embassies to Jerusalem, but he noted in particular that this pledge was part of Israel's growing ties with Africa.

Israel is returning to Africa and Africa and Africa is returning to Israel, Netanyahu told Mbasogo. The President said that the whole of Africa welcomed Israel with open arms.

They'll be the 3rd country with an embassy in Jerusalem when the time comes. This is a very admirable step from Guinea's government. And one of the best things, let's remember, is that Donald Trump helped lead to it.

Biden ignores Texas winter tragedy

Fraudulently elected Biden has failed to address the blackout in much of Texas that's left many citizens suffering from freezing in winter weather:

Millions of Americans are freezing, with no power in Texas for the fourth day in a row and at least 21 people dead, but President Joe Biden is publicly ignoring the crisis.

Freezing temperatures and winter storms paralyzed power generation plants, leading to rolling blackouts across the south-central part of the country.

But the president, who campaigned on bringing back “empathy” to the White House, has still not publicly spoken about the first major disaster of his administration.

Americans typically expect their presidents to voice their concerns during a disaster and demonstrate they are doing everything in their power to help them.

Biden, however, made no mention of Americans struggling in Texas and surrounding states during a lengthy CNN town hall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday night.

This has got to be one of the most offensive shows of ignorance coming from a high ranking US government official during a serious crisis that cost lives. Another example of the sad deterioration now taking place in the USA.

British police lose interview tapes with victim of Muslim rape gang

The British police have once again proven themselves incompetant when it comes to dealing with Islamic sexual assault. Here, the West Midlands staff in charge of evidence needed for combatting a Muslim rape gang lost 30 hours worth of interview recordings with a victim of one of the demonic predatory gangs (via Jihad Watch):

Police have been accused of failing a grooming gang victim after bringing no charges in seven years – and losing 30 hours of her interview tapes.

Hannah, whose name we have changed to protect her identity, reported to West Midlands Police that she was repeatedly raped by 18 men while growing up in Walsall.

The attacks allegedly began when she was just 10-years-old and continued until she was 17….

Hannah says the repeated attacks took place in the back streets of Walsall with multiple boys and men lining up to abuse her.

She recalled: “It was pretty much wherever they saw me. I could just be walking to the shop.

“They never cared if any children were watching, they never cared about stuff like that.

“As soon as one had finished the next was waiting, it was like a queue.

“They told me they would tell my family if I told anyone. Now looking back I don’t believe they would have done that, but I was a child and I was so worried they would tell my family and I would get the blame.”

Hannah first went to cops in 2013 aged 18 after fleeing her home because she says her Pakistan-born father was trying to force her into an arranged marriage, while she was also victim of alleged domestic abuse by relatives.

She gave the names of 15 alleged abusers – including four of her male cousins – during 30 hours of harrowing recorded interviews with detectives.

The force did arrest nine suspects but later dropped the investigation in 2015, soon after conducting a new video interview with Hannah – which she says lasted just 10 minutes and involved cops asking just two questions.

In 2018 Hannah pleaded for her case to be looked at again after reading about grooming scandals in Rochdale, Telford and other areas.

She was backed by the Birmingham-based Muslim Women’s Network who told her, and police, there had been failings in the original probe.

West Midlands Police are said to have initially refused to reopen the investigation on the grounds there was no new evidence.

But after Hannah got help from a local Walsall charity, the force subsequently reopened the probe in June 2019.

Yet in 19 months the force have only recently interviewed two suspects in voluntary interviews.

And the current investigation is understood to have focused on just three suspects, rather than all 18 men Hannah claims abused her and other Walsall girls over many years.

Hannah was also horrified to learn – six months into the current investigation – that the force had seemingly LOST 30 hours of interview footage originally recorded in 2013, which contained details of her allegations….

Hannah first reported the alleged longstanding sexual abuse by her cousins and other young Asian men living in Walsall in 2013 to Nottinghamshire Police after fleeing her home.

She said: “In 2013 the allegations I made about men and boys in Walsall were passed by Nottinghamshire Police to Walsall Police, Walsall then passed it to Wolverhampton, for whatever reason. I was never living in Wolverhampton, there was never any offending in Wolverhampton, so we don’t know why any of the police documents went there.

“Then the case was sent to West Bromwich police which is where it is now at. Police dropped the case in 2015, didn’t agree to reopen it in 2018 but then finally did so in June 2019.”

It was after reading about schoolgirl victims of grooming gangs in other parts of the country that she decided in 2018 to press police to look again at her own case.

Speaking about the original 2013 investigation, she said: “I was just sitting there in 2018 thinking of every other investigation that had gone on and all the **** coming out about all the disgusting Asian men that were doing everything to these girls.

“I thought to myself, ‘I know my investigation wasn’t investigated properly.'”

Some may think to nickname the UK police as the Keystone Kops, but nothing's funny when dealing with repulsive issues like these. They failed another victim of Islamofascism, and doubtless on purpose. The worst part is that a lot of the police staff involved could very easily be Muslims themselves, which explains some of the incompetance.

LGBT activists don't want studies into what causes transsexuality thinking

The Federalist pointed to how LGBT activists are trying to ban psychology researchers from studying the mindset of transsexuals:

The University of California at Los Angeles’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior was preparing a National Institute of Health-backed study to better understand brain structures and responses among people living with gender dysphoria. The study was titled, “Gender identity and own body perception – implications for the neurobiology of gender dysphoria.” Its researchers were seeking transgender participants when LGBT activists demanded the study be shut down.

According to the physicians attempting to conduct the study, “We want to understand the neurobiology of gender dysphoria and the interactions between sex hormone therapy treatment, the brain, and the body phenotype.” However, the executive director of the local activist group Gender Justice LA objected, claiming the study “opens the door for advancing the highly disregarded and dangerous practice of conversion therapy.”

It's basically no different from Islamists who despise the notion of apostasy, or even Haredi extremists like Neturei Karta and Lev Tahor who could think the same.

Gender Justice LA claims the study is designed to “trigger” gender dysphoria in those who have not begun treatment and therefore would be psychologically harmful to the participants. They asserted that because the study could be used “for the creation of therapeutics to treat gender dysphoria as one would treat anorexia” it could be used as a method of conversion therapy.

The California LGBTQ Health and Human Services Network circulated a letter to local LGBT communities urging transgender and gender-nonconforming people to stay away from the “dangerous” study.

In other words, they don't want their subjects to read the study, because they don't want them to think. That's Orwellianism for you, I guess. And another sad example of the terrible political correctness that's brought down the USA.

A judge at a rabbinical court refused vaccination, and got suspended

News of a possibly Haredi judge who refused vaccination against Coronavirus getting put aside:

The Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel and chief of the rabbinate’s top religious court, Rabbi David Lau, has suspended a rabbinical judge from a rabbinate court responsible for conversions, after the judge refused to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The judge in question was part of a court responsible for handling the conversions of IDF soldiers to Judaism.

Rabbi Lau said all judges are obliged to receive the vaccine.

“As far as he is concerned, it is the obligation of every judge to get vaccinated, and insofar as it is permitted by law, any judge who does not get vaccinated will be prevented from serving in his position and endangering others who come to the court,” Rabbi Lau’s office said in a statement.

Well if he's a Haredi, he sure set quite an example. There are thankfully more Haredis getting vaccinated now, but this was clearly one who adhered to an insular viewpoint believing these medicines to be more bad than good. And to think, that this one was even a conversion judge. Not acceptable, IMO.

Congress acquits Trump

Looks like the Democrats have been defeated in their latest attempt to demonize Donald Trump, even after he was fraudulently ousted from reelection (which is obviously the bad part in the past few months), as Trump and his lawyers have emerged victorious against cancel culture in Congress:

Free speech won an important victory Saturday, when the Senate acquitted former President Donald Trump of incitement.

Trump’s lawyers defended the principle that the First Amendment applies everywhere, including Congress, contrary to what lead House impeachment manager Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) argued. Moreover, they defeated what Trump defense attorney Michael van der Veen mocked as the “Raskin Doctrine”: the idea that only Democrats are entitled to free speech.

Van der Veen — a street-smart Philadelphia lawyer, the perfect contrast to Raskin’s academic legal pretensions — called the Democrats’ argument “constitutional cancel culture.”

What Raskin and his team were trying to do was to say that political speech with provocative words like “fight” was perfectly acceptable if Democrats used it — even in the context of violent nationwide riots — but that every statement, every tweet, by Trump and his supporters was presumed to be inflammatory.

Van der Veen and his colleagues, David Schoen and Bruce Castor, showed the hypocrisy of Raskin’s position when they showed a lengthy highlight reel of Democrats — including many of the Senators sitting in the chamber — using the word “fight,” and the phrase “fight like hell,” to which Raskin and the Article of Impeachment team had ascribed particular significance.

The AP Wire (via Palmieri Report) says that Trump looks to be reemerging after his aquittal. He should now set about to pointing out the sad cancel that's struck the USA in the form of totalitarian leftism, cancel culture, social justice propaganda and blacklisting. All this ideology-driven policy today is something that has to stop.

A member of Avigdor Liberman's party refuses vaccination

It's bad enough Liberman's become a troublemaker, bordering on cult leader too. Now, a member of his Yisrael Beitenu party is causing a fuss by refusing to get Coronavirus vaccination:

Yisrael Beytenu MK Eli Avidar has no intention of getting the coronavirus vaccine, he said in an interview with 103FM radio, causing a stir among public officials.

Avidar explained that since he is not in an at-risk group and is making sure he is staying healthy, he doesn't feel he needs to get the vaccine. He also elaborated that he believes that only those who are in a high-risk group should be vaccinated.

"I'm the only one of the MKs who was in Hong Kong during the SARS epidemic, Avidar said. "There were also vaccines there and they talked about the at-risk groups. The government should be telling us: 'We have the vaccine and there are high-risk groups, we don’t need to scare the public.'

"It’s in the interest of [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and the Health Ministry to scare us," the MK said in the interview.

Correction: it's in the interest of moonbats like Avidar to attack Netanyahu for petty reasons, and what help was Liberman's party during this past year anyway? Predictably, the party's head honcho defended his colleague:

Yisrael Beytenu head Avigdor Liberman, however, came to his MK's defense. He said that it is no one's place to intervene in a person's beliefs.

"He believes in yoga, in veganism and sports. I don’t think this is the place for party discipline. He believes in different things and we should respect that," Liberman said in an interview with KAN News.

Be that as it may, it doesn't mean he should leave himself open to the possibility of getting ill. The vaccine's proven very effective, and will hopefully enable this country to get back to normal by the end of the year. For now, this is another example of what kind of atrocious members Liberman's employing for his embarrassingly bad excuse for a political party.

Arab mayor of Nazareth supports Netanyahu

Here's an Arab-Israeli politician who's endorsing Benjamin Netanyahu for premier:

Few Arab politicians in Israel's history have openly flirted with the country's right wing, let alone endorsed its main candidate for prime minister.

But Ali Salam, the mayor of Nazareth, says that he sees "no better choice" for Israel's 21% Arab minority than veteran conservative Benjamin Netanyahu.

In the build-up to a fourth election in two years, Salam has hosted Netanyahu in Israel's largest Arab city, disparaged protests against him and actively cheered a split in Israel's main Arab coalition, the Joint List.

"Bibi, if you ask me, is the best one to continue for another five years," Salam, 69, told Reuters in Nazareth, the city where Jesus grew up, according to Christian tradition.

This is a very good sign when somebody like this can lend his support to the Likud and the right.

An Arab woman in Kuwait sets a brave, inspiring example by converting to Judaism

This is most amazing news from Kuwait, where an actress has boldly spoken out against Islam, and in favor of the Judaist religion she wants to convert to:

Kuwaiti singer and actress Ibtisam Hamid, known by her stage name Basma al-Kuwaiti, sent shockwaves through the Arab world when she announced Wednesday her intention to renounce Islam and convert to Judaism.

In a video she posted on Twitter, Hamid said that her decision stemmed from the fact that Islam violates women's rights and does not treat them with dignity.

The singer also spoke out against the ruling family of Kuwait, saying "I want to declare my opposition to the Al Sabah family, who reject normalization with Israel, stands against religious freedom in the country and against freedom of speech."

When somebody sees Judaism in itself as something worthy of practicing, that's inspiring and flattering. I just hope that if an Orthodox rabbi oversees her conversion, he'll respect her right to choose how she wants to dress, and not give her a false portrait of the religion as being one where a dress code is even remotely required, a la the Haredi communities. To make it look like Judaism requires a stringency of that sort is wrong, and would be distorting the faith. For now, I think Hamid should be praised for the example she's setting, one even women in Europe and the American continent would do well to consider. Yes, seriously.

Instead of the company giving a lady of color better representation, Quaker Oats gives her no representation at all

The PC cancel culture crowd's led to the erasure of the Aunt Jemima pancakes brand from Quaker Oats corporation, because they believe the figure only represents a racial stereotype (H/T: the American Thinker):

The 130-year-old brand features a Black woman named Aunt Jemima, who was originally dressed as a minstrel character.

The picture has changed over time, and in recent years Quaker removed the "mammy" kerchief from the character to blunt growing criticism that the brand perpetuated a racist stereotype that dated to the days of slavery. Quaker, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, said removing the image and name is part of an effort by the company "to make progress toward racial equality."

So instead of illustrating the character in a far better approach, wearing something like a fancy business suit, they turn this all into a farce by giving a Black woman no representation at all. This is the sad result of such Orwellian PC thinking, which does not guarantee any "equality".

Antifa and BLM threatened to burn down District of Columbia

Pajamas Media brought up the issue of Antifa/BLM doom-marching through Washington D.C, continuing to verify that nihilism is their belief:

On Saturday, a Black Lives Matter march through the streets of Washington, D.C., involved protesters dressed in antifa black bloc and threatening to burn down the nation’s capital if their demands were not met.

“If we don’t get it, burn it down!” the mob chanted, seemingly referring to $2,000 individual checks in the COVID-19 relief bill Democrats are spearheading in Congress.

Terrorists don't deserve money, but tragically, the Democrats will probably provide the movements with all the money on the table.

Maybe the weirdest part of the whole march is this:

Protesters gathered at 2 p.m. for a “DC Queer and Trans Black History Month March and Rally” organized by the Total Liberation Collective and the Palm Collective.

Sounds like it was more about promoting LGBT agendas. Truly stupefying indeed. And based on the violence they threatened, who'd really want to visit District of Columbia for a long time, seeing how such criminals could end up frequenting the streets, making it a most unpleasant place to visit? Now, chances are the musums in D.C will end up empty and this'll all cost the city a lot of tourism in the near future. Another sad example of how the USA is crumbling under political correctness.

New York coddles the idea of LGBT rejecting their own gender, along with the opposite sex

Andrew Cuomo's awful regime in NY is forcing state employees to service "cultural sensitivity" tactics for the sake of the oh-so precious transsexuality ideology:

All New York State employees are required to have training in the state’s new “Gender Identity Toolkit,” a resource to ensure the special rights of transgender and other individuals who are not comfortable with their biological sex are acknowledged and put into practice.

According to the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations website, the Gender Identity Toolkit will introduce state employees to “key terms, language, concepts, and laws related to fostering a respectful workplace and appropriate customer service to individuals who are transgender or gender non-conforming (TGNC).

Topics of the training will include a “language primer” of terms used by those engaged in gender ideology, use of preferred pronouns, how to “be an ally” to gender dysphoric individuals in the workplace, and gender transition planning “resources” for TGNC individuals.

It's a shame, but surely not unexpected, that Orwellian ideology would end up becoming the order of the day anywhere in the USA, sooner or later, and is bound to cause damage to both women's rights and many a physical body in the process. All because of far-leftists condoning the ideas of rejecting one's own gender by birth, along with the opposite sex for a romantic partner. This has been emphasized in Hollywood in many ways over the years, and now, we have life imitating "art" in the worst ways possible.

Protection is better than pain

Fox News caves to cancel culture, makes Lou Dobbs the latest victim

Fox News may have already been going down the drain, but here's a most notable current example taking things to a whole new level:

Dobbs’ program, which airs twice nightly at 5 and 7 p.m. Eastern on the Fox Business Network, will have its final airing Friday, according to a Fox News representative who confirmed the cancellation. Starting next week, the program will be called “Fox Business Tonight,” with rotating substitute hosts Jackie DeAngelis and David Asman, who filled in for Dobbs on Friday.[…]

[P]eople familiar with discussions say the decision to end Dobbs’ program was under consideration before the legal issues with Smartmatic arose. (Fox News said it stands by its 2020 election coverage and will “defend this meritless lawsuit in court.”)

Who will be next after Dobbs? Sean Hannity? Jeanine Pirro? Tucker Carlson? Maria Bartiromo? As if you needed another reason why to avoid the channel that's clearly throwing away much of the conservative audience they built up over the years. Breitbart notes:

The sudden development comes after voting systems company Smartmatic filed a $2.7 billion defamation suit against Fox News and hosts Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro, and Maria Bartiromo. Smartmatic alleges that the network broadcasted falsehoods about the company that caused both financial and reputational damage. Dominion Voting Systems, another voting software system, recently sued Rudy Guiliani and Sidney Powell for $1.3 billion over their voter fraud claims.

Fox News maintains that the voting systems company’s claims against it are meritless.

Yet they threw Dobbs under the bus anyway, so how does that help them? All this demonstrates is a shocking inability to stand behind their employees at a time when communism has sadly prevailed in the USA itself. A most hugely disappointing show of management from a once decent news network. Let's also remember that they recently stopped interviewing Giuliani for similar reasons.

Another cure may have been found for Covid19 at a Tel Aviv hospital

An Israeli hospital claims may have a cure for COVID-19, according to a report by KAN News.

Researchers at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital on Thursday announced it has seen positive results in preliminary trials for a cure for COVID-19.

Professor Nadir Arber from the Integrated Cancer Prevention Center at the hospital tested a medication he has been developing on patients in moderate and serious condition suffering from the virus with a 95% positive result.

Arber says the medicine, named EXO-CD24, is inexpensive and effective and must be given once daily for five days.

Of the 30 patients that were given the drug, 29 showed a marked improvement within two days and were released from the hospital three to five days later.

One patient also recovered but her recovery took a few days longer, the hospital said.

Now this is a most promising development in medical science. Along with the main vaccinations, this'll hopefully enable a return to a more normal way of life soon. And indeed, it'll be very fortunate if and when the world can.

How the Haredi isolationists walled themselves in

In this report on Israel HaYom, they discuss how the most insular Haredi clans spent years on end building concrete walls separating themselves from Israeli society in the most awful ways:

The violence in Haredi towns plays badly, but this isn't the real challenge facing the Haredim when it comes to Israeli society. Even when COVID is a thing of the past, the walls the Haredim built between themselves and the rest of society will remain high, and COVID has dug a deep moat around them. Two states for one people. The low point of the violent riots during the third lockdown is a symptom of the real problem. After two decades of attempts to integrate the Haredim into Israeli life, the results are limited. The main trend in mainstream Haredi society is still one of isolationism and enclosure. Even at the price of people's lives, as we have seen over the course of this past year. The conclusion is that Israel cannot allow itself the privilege of allowing Haredi isolationism to continue.

Absolutely not. But if you're wondering why the Haredi clans take such an isolationist, socialist approach to living, and why efforts to integrate them properly are otherwise unsuccessful, this is why:

There is a reason for these failures and why the Haredi are not integrating into Israeli society. Haredi society is defined by and exists because of its isolationism, which serve to maintain its values, but have turned into a value unto themselves. The more Israel tried to bring them into society, the more Haredi spiritual and political leaders take a contrarian approach and fight the state's attempts to include them.

I blame the Satmar for much of this influence, and wouldn't be shocked if they had any influence in the country during the late 1940s, when the modern state was being established after getting the occupying British forces out. But David Ben-Gurion also made a mistake by exempting them from army service, which later led to early problems even he admitted shouldn't have been enabled.

Anyway, this is exactly why Israeli society as a whole can't afford to consider the Haredi way of life an acceptable one. Even if it's nowhere near as awful as Islam, it's still very destructive upon many a mind raised in their enclaves, leading to all sorts of "road to hell paved with good intentions" situations. In fact, it's the right-wing in particular that must prove they're capable of objecting to the ultra-Orthodox lifestyle, because such issues cannot be left for liberals to monopolize. Mainly because the left actually does facilitate the Haredi lifestyle, since it's as socialist as many leftists themselves, and the left-wing parties have gone out of their way to accomodate the Haredis in past decades, if that's what it took to keep their governments standing.

I would therefore strongly advise right-wingers who recognize the problems posed by the ultra-Orthodox lifestyle to do everything they can, in addition, to help those who want to leave it, to do so, and ensure their children won't have difficulty doing the same when stuck in the middle of a custody battle between 2 parents divorcing. Better still, make sure the children aren't indoctrinated in Haredi-run schools to view a parent who goes "off the derech", as they sometimes put it, as some sort of a demon who deserves zero chance to prove they're not. This abuse of the system by the ultra-Orthodox clans cannot be allowed to continue.

As noted in this health article, many Haredis are the ones suffering from high rates of Coronavirus, with Arabs coming second, although there's a slight difference when it comes to how the 2 sectors get vaccinated:

The Health Ministry also reported that while the infection rate among the general public stands at 9.2%, in the ultra-Orthodox sector it's 20%, and in the Arab sector 12.1%.

While 84.9% of the general public is vaccinated, in the Haredi sector it's 66.1%, and in the Arab sector it's 60%.

The vaccination rate in the general public stands at 32%, in the ultra-Orthodox sector it's 27%, and in the Arab sector at 18%.

So although it appears most Haredis are suffering from higher infection rates, they're going for vaccinations at a rate higher than the Arabic sector. Yet the Haredi attendance for this is lower than most of the general public, and that's obviously troubling in its own way, mainly because it suggests not all are listening to the spiritual leaders urging them to do so. And it's also sad how the Arabic sector doesn't seem to be getting vaccinated at a higher rate either.

Ruth King's written on the American Thinker that, as US envoys to the middle east, Kushner, Pompeo and Friedman deserve as much credit as Donald Trump for the efforts they made in bringing more stability to the region:

Those efforts will fail thanks to the sage counsel and logistical cooperation of his trusted adviser, confidante, and son-in-law Jared Kushner and his loyal and effective Secretary of State Michael Pompeo. Enter President Donald Trump who, breaking with tradition, relied more on Jared Kushner, David Friedman (America’s Ambassador to Israel), and Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, rather than on the standard recommendations from the military and State Department officials.

In the summer of 2020, President Trump, burdened with the pandemic and unrelenting Democrat efforts to destroy his administration, helped broker the historic agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, which was - only the third peace treaty between Israel and an Arab country. Michel Pompeo then began shuttle diplomacy to the region to persuade other Arab nations and Israel to begin negotiations and diplomatic exchanges. As a former Congressman from Kansas, Pompeo had strong bonds with Israel, and the Arabs admired his military experience and warnings of the threat of militarized Iran.

For his part, Jared Kushner reassured Israel that it would retain its military edge and he shifted Middle East politics, which had obsessively focused on the Palestinian Arabs, to the economic and strategic benefits flowing from exchanges with Israel. A new and younger Arab population was tired of old grudges and welcomed Kushner’s resolve to solve current problems.

So these 3 politicians also deserve a lot of congratulations, and must be remembered for a long time.

Via Katie Pavlich at Town Hall, a report about Antifa hoodlums in Olympia, Washington, who took over a Red Lion Hotel in the city armed with axes and knives, forcing much of the hotel staff to flee for their safety. Which, very sadly, hasn't made many headlines in the mainstream news, if at all. That's why much of the horrors Antifa and BLM are causing will continue, and despite any claims by local authorities they'll try to put a stop to this, something tells me their efforts will be insufficient.

Biden appoints a rabid anti-Israelist to intel management at the National Security Council

Caroline Glick's spoken about fraud-in-chief Joe Biden's appointment of Maher Bitar, one of the worst people who worked with the Muslim Brotherhood on campuses, to a senior directorial position at the National Security Council:

As Daniel Greenfield reported at Frontpage online magazine, in 2006, as a student at Georgetown University, Bitar was a leader of the anti-Semitic, Muslim Brotherhood aligned Students for Justice in Palestine. As an SJP leader, he organized a so-called "boycott, divestment, and sanctions" campaign against Israel and its supporters on his campus. Greenfield reported that Bitar chaired a panel at a BDS conference where participants discussed how to indoctrinate Christians to believe that Israel has no right to exist.

After receiving a law degree from Georgetown, Bitar received a Master's from Oxford in "Forced Migration." He wrote a thesis about the "Nakba," or catastrophe of Israel's founding.

From Oxford, he moved to Jerusalem where he worked for UNRWA, the UN agency dedicated to keeping the descendants of Arabs who left Israel in 1948 in a state of perpetual limbo by blocking their naturalization in countries they have lived in for five generations. UNRWA's efforts to eternalize their misery are motivated by its institutional commitment to preventing any resolution of the Palestinian conflict with Israel.

During the Obama presidency, Bitar served on the National Security Council as the Israeli-Palestinian officer. He was Samantha Power's deputy. In 2016, as UN ambassador, Power played a key role in the passage of UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which labeled Israeli neighborhoods in unified Jerusalem and Israeli towns and cities in Judea and Samaria as a "flagrant violation of international law."

Bitar's appointment highlights perhaps the central dilemma now facing Israel's national leadership: How should Israel contend with what is shaping up to be the most hostile US administration ever?

Well there are ways in which Netanyahu was able to, as she continues to explain. But now, we're also facing a problem not just from the leftists in Israel, but also some poseurs on the right, including a most reprehensible "diplomat" who worked at the UN:

Netanyahu's political opponents aren't only on the left side of the spectrum. There are two ostensibly right-wing parties – Yisrael Beytenu and New Hope – that have joined with the left in their common dedication to defeating Netanyahu. Unfortunately, although they deny it, they are also members of the appeasement camp. Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman, of course, proved this to be the case by refusing to join a Netanyahu-led government and so blocking the formation of a rightist coalition after three successive elections in 2019 and 2020.

As for New Hope leader Gideon Sa'ar, his appeasement bent is exposed both by his political positions and actions and those of his colleagues.

Since bolting Likud, Sa'ar has joined Liberman in announcing that he will not join a Netanyahu government. Since the only other option is to join a leftist government, by default Sa'ar has placed his "right-wing" party on the Left. Equally telling, Sa'ar has provided blanket support for the legal fraternity and so legitimized the ongoing efforts of the state prosecution, the attorney general and to the Supreme Court to seize what remains of the executive powers of the government to determine national policy and the legislative powers of the Knesset to pass laws.

Last week, Sa'ar "diplomatic draft," former Consul General in New York Dani Dayan made clear in an interview with Makor Rishon that a Sa'ar government would happily concede Israel's national interests for good relations with the Biden administration.

Dayan, who served in New York from 2016 to 2020, bragged to the interviewer that as consul general, he deliberately disregarded the instructions he received from Netanyahu, who appointed him to his post. In his words, in a number of "central issues that were under the direct authority of the consul general, I operated to a degree contrary to Netanyahu's policies."

Among the policies Dayan mentioned, were Netanyahu's instructions related to his dealings with American Jews and Democratic politicians.

During Dayan's tenure, pro-Israel Democrat lawmakers were roundly defeated in primaries by anti-Israel progressive candidates. BDS activists seized leadership roles in the party's activist base and legislative bodies at the municipal, state and federal levels.

And now, this is pretty much the Democrat party as it stands today, with awful people like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar representing it in Congress. Yet Saar, Liberman and Dayan alike have strongly suggested they have no problem with such a reprehensible bunch, which makes this all a lot more tragic.

Rare cloth from David/Solomon era discovered

Some news relating to archaeology has come up that's impressive (via The American Thinker):

Rare purple wool cloth scraps from the era dating back to the time of King David and King Solomon, approximately 3,000 years ago, have been discovered in Israel.

Researchers in southern Israel found the remnants of woven wool fabric that had been dyed the color of royal purple while examining textiles from the Timna valley, a copper production district of King Solomon's day.

[...] In ancient times purple cloth was a luxury item, and those who wore it were associated with the nobility, priests, and royalty. The dye used to make the color was sourced from a few kinds of mollusks in the Mediterranean Sea. The dye was produced from a gland located within the body of the mollusk by way of a complex chemical process that took several days to occur.

Yup, it's great discovery of artifacts, alright.
