Instead of the company giving a lady of color better representation, Quaker Oats gives her no representation at all

The PC cancel culture crowd's led to the erasure of the Aunt Jemima pancakes brand from Quaker Oats corporation, because they believe the figure only represents a racial stereotype (H/T: the American Thinker):
The 130-year-old brand features a Black woman named Aunt Jemima, who was originally dressed as a minstrel character. So instead of illustrating the character in a far better approach, wearing something like a fancy business suit, they turn this all into a farce by giving a Black woman no representation at all. This is the sad result of such Orwellian PC thinking, which does not guarantee any "equality".
The picture has changed over time, and in recent years Quaker removed the "mammy" kerchief from the character to blunt growing criticism that the brand perpetuated a racist stereotype that dated to the days of slavery. Quaker, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, said removing the image and name is part of an effort by the company "to make progress toward racial equality."
