Andrew Cuomo finally resigns, but he's left only so much damage in his wake
New York governor Cuomo, accused by a number of women of sexual misconduct in the past year or so, has finally resigned after he screwed up royally along the way. Here's what Laura Ingraham said about this scandal:
And of course, over the past decade when Bill de Blasio became NYC mayor, he, along with Cuomo, enabled the state to become a disaster in terms of safety from crime, and their mishandling of the Corona crisis only worsened an already deteriorating situation, which led to a lot of former citizens leaving the state for other areas like Florida. If there's illegal immigrants in NY now, there's little chance they'll do anything about it. NY is sadly destined, sooner or later, to collapse as a state, as is Oregon.
"The real scandal is that over the past 11 years since Cuomo was elected, New York has slid slowly but surely down a rathole," Ingraham said.Yup, that too is a serious scandal, besides the sexual harassment accusations. Surprisingly enough, the NY Times brought it up, and Cuomo may be facing an investigation, but I got a bad feeling he'll never be prosecuted for the negligence of that whole fiasco. Ingraham also slammed President Biden for claiming the New York governor had done a "helluva a job," saying, "what’s really devastating, is that Cuomo’s handling of COVID led to thousands of needless deaths ... dumping COVID positive patients back into nursing homes, where they ended up infecting, and killing others."
