Israeli police reportedly arrested a suspect in the incident of a trash bin set on fire that was sent rolling down a slope where it injured a mother of 11 children, during the Haredi riot in the neighborhood last week:

Police arrest a suspect in relation to an ultra-Orthodox protest in Jerusalem earlier this month during which a dumpster was set ablaze and shoved, seriously injuring a woman who was passing nearby.

Police say the suspect was arrested in the Haredi neighborhood of Mea Shearim in the capital and brought to a police station for questioning. Police say they will continue to search for suspects and bring all those involved in the incident to justice.

Interestingly, it was also reported a few days ago when police first searched the neighborhood:

In addition, the police took down other Palestinian flags flying in the neighborhood while looking for the perpetrators of the cruel crimes.

As the police entered the neighborhood, a few people attempted to attack them, and they were assaulted with stones and eggs.

That's another of the chilling realities in these enclaves - that the extremists dwelling there support the PLO, and they're the ones surely most prone to riot.

Let's hope all culprits in the crime that resulted in the mother being injured are brought to justice. And let's additionally hope some of these folks will abandon the Haredi lifestyle in the future.
