Tel-Chai Nation

Israel, much like the fortress of Tel-Chai that Jospeh Trumpeldor fought to defend against Arab conquerors in 1920, finds itself beseiged by enemies both within and without. Terrorists, would-be friends inside and outside Israel, and even bad government officials. Here are the discussions of one proud Zionist resident on the state of the nation and abroad.

House Democrats wouldn't cheer Martin Luther King

It's been reported from Capitol Hill that the Democrats apparently have a problem with one of Martin Luther King's most important viewpoints and arguments, and this came before Kevin McCarthy was elected speaker:
House Democrats couldn’t bring themselves to applaud Martin Luther King Jr. on Wednesday.

[...] “Now here we are, and for the first time in history there have been two black Americans placed into the nomination for speaker of the House,” Roy said ahead of the fourth vote.

The proclamation was met with roaring applause and a standing ovation as lawmakers on each end of the chamber celebrated the racial milestone 158 years after the end of American slavery.

“However,” Roy continued, “we do not seek to judge people by the color of their skin but rather the content of their character.”

Republicans stood again to cheer the mantra, which was popularized by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. just two miles west on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963. But most Democrats across the aisle, captivated by a form of identity politics that is obsessed with skin color, remained seated with their arms crossed
.

The juxtaposition between the two parties says everything about the state of American race relations today.

Democrats couldn’t celebrate the famous line from the 20th-century civil rights icon because color blindness is no virtue in the church of wokeness, the new secular religion to take over the Democratic Party.
So decades after King made his vital beliefs known, the disgraceful Democrats, the party that originally upheld slavery in the past few centuries, have since shunned him and his views altogether. Just another example of the collapse in morale back in the USA.
