Ramat Gan religious council head stabbed in terror attack
A terrorist attack occurred in Ramat Gan:
The head of the Ramat Gan Religious Council, Adv. Gedalyahu Ben Shimon, a senior Shas Party official and member of the Bnei Brak City Council, was severely wounded on Thursday in a stabbing on Bialik Street in Ramat GanBesides how repulsive this incident is, it also makes clear that even in Israel, there's jihadists who can use that exclamation that's insulting to God, and goes against the Commandment, "thou shalt not use God's name in vain".
A Magen David Adom (MDA) medical team that was dispatched to the scene provided medical care and took the 47-year-old victim to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The police arrested a 20-year-old Arab from Jatt at the scene and are investigating the background. The Shin Bet is involved in the investigation.
According to eye-witnesses, the suspect shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the act.
It's a challenging question of whether Haredis will wake up and recognize the reality of how Islamic jihadists are completely indiscriminate about who they attack, and that Haredis have been and still are some of the biggest victims of the Religion of Peace.
