(IsraelNN.com) Rescue workers on the scene of the Be’er Sheva Central Bus Station terror attack report finding the body of the apparent suicide bomber. This is not being confirmed by police at this early stage of the investigation.
Magen David Adom emergency medical service officials report receiving the first call of an explosion in the bus station at 8:27am. MDA reports ten victims were transported to Soroka Medical Center.
Hospital officials report two victims are in serious condition, apparently the security guards who prevented the bomber from entering inside the bus station, averting more injuries and possible loss of life.
Police have closed down the road leading to the bus station, a major north-south road in Be’er Sheva, resulting in significant delays in the city. Police have also closed down roads in the Hevron Hills region, apparently in connection to an ongoing pursuit for a vehicle believed to have transported the terrorist to the city.
