Saudi buscapaders released. Guess who's involved?

Tampa Bay Online (via The Florida Masochist) says that the Saudi students who boarded a school bus in Tampa are being released. Just like that? How stupid those judges are being. Just because they don't have any dangerous weapons or documents in their house doesn't mean that they aren't terrorist moles, and doesn't mean that they don't have anything stored elsewhere.

As if this weren't appalling enough, look at the news that Debbie Schlussel found:
Tampa ABC Action News reports that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, our "ally in the War on Terror," is picking up Almanajam's and Alsidran's legal fees in the entire trial on their misdemeanors for trespassing on the bus. The Saudis will not plea, but will have fancy lawyers fighting the charges courtesy of the Kingdom. The Saudi government also paid the legal fees of accused terrorist Sami Omar Al-Hussayen, helping him beat an incompetent Justice Dept. on well-founded charges of running websites for terror groups, etc. (More about the men, here and here.)
The Saudis are willing help their own out of a jam, no matter what wrongs they've done. And that's serious cause for concern. Mainly because, as Lee Boyd Malvo, the partner of serial sniper John Muhammed, said in his testimony, he and his overlord would
target children and police officers with explosives. They planned to place explosives on school buses in Baltimore, kill a Baltimore police officer and then set off explosives packed with ball bearings at the officer's funeral.

When Malvo asked Muhammad why, "he said for the sheer terror of it. The worst thing you can do to people is aim at their children," Malvo testified.
When you think about what Malvo said in his testimony, you know that the Saudi "students" could very easily have been planning something similar, all the more reason this could've been a dry run for a deadly attack.

Update: Michelle Malkin has some important information about Malvo, including that he appears to be an illegal alien himself. And check out some of the drawings he did in prison, which tell a lot.
