US normalizing relations with Libya?

In another move that can further discredit the Dubya adminstration, it seems that they're normalizing ties with Libya, one of quite a few sponsors of terrorism in the Muslim world and the country that spawned the terrorists who blew up Pan Am Flight 103 over Scotland in 1988.
Over at Hot Air, Allahpundit asks if something's changed in the past couple weeks that he's not aware of, or us either. Sadly, yes, something did, and it's the begging for oil that Dubya's been doing. Instead of drilling in Alaska, which is still ripe for excavations, he turns to a terrorist state instead.
Another reason to start calling your Congressman. Oh, and don't forget to complain about the Doncasters deal too. That too is another thing we musn't forget.
