Participated in bloggers conference with Syrian dissident
I'd wanted to post about this earlier, but was sidetracked by some other jobs and family matters. I took part on Thursday evening in another bloggers conference sponsored by One Jerusalem, this one with Aksam Barakat, a Syrian dissident and founder of the Syrian Democratic Forum. It was certainly interesting to be part of a conversation with a dissident who does his best to provide info on what a country ruled by a tyrant like Bashar Assad is like on the inside.
