A bold mission to Iraq
Guess who's going to travel to Iraq to investigate the Jamil Hussein/AP story? None other than Michelle Malkin! The former CNN reporter Eason Jordan offered her an invitation to join him on a trip to Iraq to investigate the case. The AP editor Kathleen Carroll decided that just about everyone is wrong to question her questionable sources, which is why our bold bloggers are on their way to get to the bottom of the case themselves. It looks like even Bryan Preston will be joining too.
It's a very daring and dangerous journey they're taking, no doubt about that, which is exactly why we must wish them good luck, safety, and godspeed.
Update: it appears that, not only is there indeed a Jamil Hussein in existence, he's been arrested just recently too (also via Michelle). As a commentor over at Patterico's asks, why'd it take so long to produce him?
