No money for treasonists
With this new law being drafted, Azmi Bishara won't get any more:
(IsraelNN.com) A Knesset committee Wednesday approved accelerating action to pass a bill intended to prevent Knesset Members from receiving benefits if they are convicted of criminal offenses. Those who serve the enemy deserve no extra pay.
The proposed law was brought to the Knesset following revelations that Azmi Bishara, before his recent resignation as an MK, is suspected of treason by receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from Hizbullah in return for supplying the terrorist organization with sensitive information during last summer's war.
