Participated in bloggers conference with Noam Bedein on the situation in Sderot
I just took part in another bloggers conference by One Jerusalem. The guest this time was Noam Bedein, who runs Sderot Media Center, which provides coverage of the crisis the residents there face. As of now, very few government officials have actually paid visits to Sderot to examine the damage done by kassam rockets fired by the Hamas at the city, and the shelters they have there lack proper resources such as water supplies.
I encourage all reading to spread the word around about the crisis the residents of Sderot have been living through ever since the "disengagement" in August 2005. There's a lot of rocket attacks that have been going virtually ignored just like many of the car burnings in France, and people outside of Israel need to know the exact situation that's being faced.
The other participants include Israpundit, Jewish Current Issues.
Open trackbacks: 123Beta, Big Dog's Weblog, bRight and Early, Cao's Blog, Church and State, Jo's Cafe, Outside the Beltway, Perri Nelson's Website, Planck's Constant, Point Five, Right Voices, Samantha Burns, Third World County, The Yankee Sailor.
