More signs that Rice is one of the poorest Secretaries of State
The Jerusalem Post (via Power Line) reports that Condi Rice has conferred with Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and even Dennis Ross, James Baker, Madeline Albright and Henry Kissinger ahead of the planned Anapolis summit. All these bad ideas for advice is whom she turns to. John at PL adds:
PAUL adds: From what I hear, Bush bases his foreign policy these days largely on whatever Rice tells him, and Rice basically just channels the views of the State Department bureaucracy.Anyone who's going to base their policy solely on employees who go the knee-jerk route is clearly a very poor politician.
Was Rice always this bad, or has she changed course in order to regain the esteem of the foreign policy establishment before she heads back to private life?
