Americans should not put up with this
I remembered seeing the following article by Daniel Pipes a few months ago, but didn't have the time to write about it until now. It tells about how the US Supreme Court in the District of Columbia has a Muhammed frieze sculpture in the main chamber. They may have said that it's meant as recognition of the "prophet", but really, should such an awful warmonger as Muhammed be recognized?
I do realize that there may be some concern here about caving to Islamists who oppose depicting Muhammed visually. Nevertheless, this is something that, IMO, sensible Americans should be concerned about if they realize what Muhammed was really like. And maybe they're the ones who should object to its being displayed in any US courtroom out of "recognition". For Muhammed does not deserve any positive recognition by any legitimate court system.
