Another disgusting police officer who took part in the Amona assault has been convicted:

Police officer David Atiya has been convicted by a Jerusalem Magistrates Court on Monday for head-butting a protester during a demonstration against the evacuation of the West Bank outpost of Amona in 2006.

Atiya, of Petah Tikva, was charged with assaulting the demonstrator without provocation, head-budding teenager David Ledwin in his eye.

The conviction marks the end of a Police Investigation Department(PID) inquiry, which was launched after the PID received a complaint by the Human Rights in Judea and Samaria organization, which gave police a video of the incident.

In its ruling, the court said there was no justification for Atiya's assault.

I hope whatever neighborhood that diablo lives in throws him out. People like that are, if you ask me, dangerous to women and children, and they're also in that job solely for the money, not for innocent people's safety. Don't let a character/creature like that into your grocery store or supermarket either. Update: he's being sued for two more acts of assault.
