Ed Koch: the trust has vanished

NY's former mayor wrote an op-ed recently about how Obama has betrayed the Jewish community's trust, and now, the trust has eroded:
After having opposed President Obama’s health care reform plan and expressing disappointment over his failure to convince Russia and China to back harsh sanctions against Iran, the former mayor recently wrote, “President Obama’s abysmal attitude toward the State of Israel and his humiliating treatment of Prime Minister Netanyahu is shocking.”More to the point, Obama's more interested in appeasing Muslim countries. So can we trust then that Kock will avoid providing any more support for Obama?
He then went one step further with unprecedented public criticism of President Obama by a leading Democrat, telling Fox News that the country’s leader is more interested in pacifying Muslim nations than helping Israel.

Can we trust American Jews to turn backs upon Obama?
Good luck with that one - its praiseworthy to see Koch speaking up but one has doubts about the rest of them.
And yes - there is no trust between Washington and Jerusalem.
