Rassmussen: 49% blame activists upon flotilla for deaths; only 19% blame Israel

Rassmussen Reports finds that a significant number of Americans have caught on to how the flotilla to Gaza was transporting quite a few terrorists who violently attacked the IDF:
Forty-nine percent (49%) of U.S. voters believe pro-Palestinian activists on the Gaza-bound aid ships raided by Israeli forces are to blame for the deaths that resulted in the high-profile incident.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 19% of voters think the Israelis are to blame. Thirty-two percent (32%) more are not sure.
Via The Weekly Standard. Good news, I'll say. More here.

In more related news: the IDF has discovered that some of the flotilla passengers were linked with al Qaeda (via Hot Air Headlines).

And, the Wash. Post reports that the west is starting to notice, finally, that Turkey is going downhill (also via Hot Air Headlines).

Update: Turkey's tourism biz has been deservedly suffering because of their return to Islamofascism.

Update 2: another important piece of news: Reuters has been caught cropping important details from photos taken aboard the Mavi Marmara.

Update 3: the GOP is going to introduce a resolution to defend Israel against the unjust criticism in the case.

Update 4: a Kuwaiti journalist, of all people, has confirmed that the flotilla was violent and Israel has a right to defend itself. How about that.

  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I don't expect to be perfect at the job, but I do my best.
