Update: and in more news related to this previous news, the Wall Street Journal (via Big Government) confirms that an accused rapist was allowed to sleep in what we must assume is a left-wing church where other Occupiers were, but offers little other details beyond that.
Mayor Vincent Gray has called on the National Park Service to remove Occupy DC protesters from McPherson Square, citing rat infestation and other health issues. [...]They could even be in danger of rat bites and illness stemming from the same. Which just shows how the Occupy movement don't have what it takes to keep a healthy environment.
Earlier this week, D.C. health officials said the two camps have a large concentration of rats.
In addition to the rat infestation, Gray also expressed concern for the protesters, who could suffer from hypothermia in the cold.
