Media's lack of interest in trial of Nidal Hasan

Via Hot Air, just a little example of how the MSM has been all but silent about the trial of Nidal Hasan as compared to all the vast coverage in many ways of George Zimmerman's trial. A few days ago, a writer on The Examiner website said:
Nidal Hasan, according to the rule of law, is finally facing consequences of his Islamic faith, or is he? According to the rule of law, even though he’s a terrorist, fighting a Holy war within the rank and file of the military, he’s afforded a trial in the style of a civilian murderer.

This week, during his jury selection process, he admits to perspective jurors, he support the Taliban and Islam. He claims his military uniform offends Islam, but the check at taxpayers expense doesn’t. Three and a half years since the Ft Hood massacre, he’s grown a beard in order to look the part that he’s playing and playing the part is exactly what Hasan is doing.
And the worst part is, he'll probably appeal based on the grounds that he's a "victim" of alleged persecution, and use the wages he doesn't deserve to fund the legal defense he also doesn't deserve.

The Austin American Statesman says that jury selection is continuing, and prosecutors want at least 2 jurors removed who voiced opposition to the death penalty. I agree with them there. Hasan should be given the death sentence for his crimes, and we should not let his hopes for it discourage us from handing him down something he does deserve - a one-way ticket to hell.
