ISIS wants "jihad wives" to just be slaves in the kitchen
LONDON: Woman should never undertake combat roles and can contribute to jihad through "feminine manual labour" such as cooking for and nursing fighters, according to guidelines issued by the dreaded IS militant group on how to be "ultimate wives of jihad".There are some women under Islam who do learn how to shoot firearms and stab with knives, but one thing that remains clear: women can never outrank men under the Religion of Peace.
The Islamic State militants in Syria and Iraq have circulated new guidelines on social media through video and tweets on how to be "ultimate wives of jihad".
The IS' media wing 'Zora Foundation' has posted a video on YouTube detailing the ways in which women, who the militant outfit believes should never undertake combat roles, can contribute to jihad through "feminine manual labour" such as cooking for and nursing fighters, the Independent reported.
"The video talks about nursing and administering first aid, the cooking and preparation of food, the books of God, sharia science and the preparation of women for there contribution to jihad - essentially getting others to go out there," Charlie Winter, a researcher at counter-extremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation, was quoted as saying by the daily.
"It is kind of a guideline on how to be a good supporter of jihad and have the best role in supporting 'your mujahidin' as a woman," he said.
