UN admits Iran's latest "deal" unlikely to be "peaceful"
Iran is reducing its nuclear activities under a deal with six world powers, but a senior UN official says he cannot guarantee that everything it is doing is peaceful. And there's no chance Iran will ever give them convincing ability to inspect their facilities either. Oh, and what's this about "reducing" their activities? How do we know there aren't underground labs where they're keeping the bulk of their research? Once again, the UN's proven how unreliable they are, and their own respect for life and safety isn't guaranteed either.
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Yukiya Amano spoke Thursday to the IAEA’s 35-nation board.
Amano says he is “not in a position to provide credible assurance about the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities in Iran,” and thus cannot conclude that “all nuclear material in Iran is in peaceful activities.”
