Haredi troublemaker goes berserk on plane over movie he considers "immodest"
A 34-year-old ultra-Orthodox man from Beit Shemesh was arrested at Ben-Gurion International Airport on Wednesday after causing a disturbance and assaulting flight attendants on an El Al flight from Poland to Israel.Just simply hilarious. I get the feeling he wanted to be arrested, which is sad, because he's basically throwing his life in the trash over petty issues. I hope the staff had ropes or chains, if not handcuffs, to restrain him with, and he should now be banned from their flights altogether. It's shameful how this one man tried to do what he accused the airline of doing, namely, coercion into censoring anything he disagrees with. Note how he clearly disrespects other people's property if he'd vandalize the TV screens in the plane. That is disturbing mentality, and cannot be taken lightly.
During questioning, the man said the in-flight movie, "Truth," was too immodest and he had demanded it be turned off.
[...] According to crew members, the man demanded that the movie be turned off, and when they refused, he shattered two screens and physically assaulted flight attendants attempting to prevent him from causing more damage.
The suspect also attacked a fellow passenger who criticized his behavior, and told other passengers who also confronted him that showing the movie was an act of secular coercion that he was unwilling to accept.
