While the Hill has sent telling signs they're not very strong on free speech themselves, they were willing to publish an article by Elan Journo, who had a book barred from a potentially farcical event the UCLA was holding (Hat tip: Jihad Watch):
At UCLA Law School last week, a squad of student “thought police” tried to ban my book, Failing to Confront Islamic Totalitarianism: From George W. Bush to Barack Obama and Beyond. They don’t want you to know the book even exists, let alone what’s inside it. And the UCLA administration enabled them. This ominous episode underlines how students are learning to be contemptuous of intellectual freedom.Read more about how obnoxiously the students who didn't want his book to be there acted. In fact, note how clear it is they were basically fine with Bush proving as much a failure in his time as Obama later was.
