A Trump visit to France for Bastille Day can be an excellent way to inspire
President Donald Trump has decided to take up France's Emmanuel Macron on his offer to visit Paris next month on Bastille Day to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the United States' entry into World War I.Oh, please, what's the UK Mail trying to do, twist things to sound in their favor? The other issues should include how crime ridden much of the country's become with Islamofascist invaders around. IMO, Trump should and must say everything possible to aid all sane citizens who don't want France or any other European country to become a jihad-destroyed hellhole. Similarly, even first lady Melania Trump, who'll also be going, could be an inspiration here. The article is noticeably hostile to the Trumps, putting words in everyone's mouths. I guess it was only a matter of time before the UK Mail really went downhill with bits of their own "fake news". Let's not let that get us down, of course. For now, I wish Trump well on his visit, and hope he'll take the time to encourage and inspire when he's in Europe.
The White House confirmed that Trump would be traveling to France for the July 14 event in a statement Wednesday morning that stressed the US' 'strong ties of friendship with France.'
'The two leaders will further build on the strong counter-terrorism cooperation and economic partnership between the two countries, and they will discuss many other issues of mutual concern,' it said, alluding to expected climate talks.
