European council finally says something sensible, but through a grudge
The Council of Europe has said that the PLO must stop making payments to jihadists, though unfortunately at the same time, they still made unjust denunciations of Israel and the USA:
For the first time in its history, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Thursday, called for the Palestinian Authority to halt its payments to incarcerated terrorists and their families.I think, when they declare it wrong to act in self-defense and attack the USA for doing something positive and making clear these "negotiations" will not be held 100 percent on the PLO and Islam's terms, they're contradicting the call for the PLO to stop funding terrorists. It certainly proves they're making their announcement begrudgingly. I think that could all be remedied by changing the makeup of the council's staffers and members.
Israel swayed the council to include a denunciation of terrorist payments as part of its passage of an overall resolution on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The bulk of the resolution was critical of Israeli actions over the pre-1967 lines and denounced US President Donald Trump’s declaration that recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
