Laurent Waquiez lashes out at Emmanuel Macron
I don't think the French presidential incumbent's had much impact during his US visit to Congress, and his speech there was lazy as it is, so Waquiez's critique is justified:

But the hardline opposition leader also said that the young centrist was struggling to make his mark on the world stage.
When asked to comment on the young centrist’s first year in power by France’s Le Figaro newspaper, Mr Wauquiez said: “Wallets are emptying, factories are closing down and new Salafi mosques are popping up across the country.
“I refuse to stay silent as I watch France unravel before my eyes.
“My biggest fear is that so-called ‘Macronism’ is in fact a form of blindness which has been built on an illusion.”
